Remember Merna and her FOTM concept of holding an album back for 6 months? As cool as the concept was, it backfired, her stuff leaked and she was disappointed. Since Lana obviously does not do promo, there is no reason to hold back stuff too long if it's finished.

I'm glad we got UV and not an album that sounds like the "untouchable 5". JFK, AFFA, Hollywood and Starry Eyed are all meh. Fine China has nice lyrics but sounds boring. YTH has nice verses but the chorus is bland. The only two good rejects we know about are BB (which was officially released) and YG.

She hides the promo copies of YAIL under the waterproof trenchcoat to keep them save from leaking ...

Short semi spoken intro, something about "someone/something giving her great power". Then everything turned dramatic - lots of strings. Vocals similar to TIME. Lyrics about self-doubt and a lyric similar to "keep your eyes closed until you can see what I see". Violin-solo at the end of the track, very classic (similar to the TIME piano-solo). Then an outro with disorted vocals a la Human

Wow, this is awesome! Fits the vibe of TIME and HUMAN, so I guess it will be a very dramatic album. I kind of get the vibe of ancient greek myths (especially since the HUMAN video)

I don't think the strings were the issue many people had with HM, more like the snoozy, dragging vibe it had.

Why don't you just listen to Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande then? Apart form that, he's definitly not a "nobody", he may just not live in your Katy Perry world of music. And on another note, I did not even say I want "a cover with Mark lanegan", but someone with similar vocal qualities.

It's a great song but much to depressive abd sleepy for the radio

Visuals are nice but the video is not as nice as I expected it to be. As hectic and all over the place as the song is.

Sorry but what is the point of writing essays on - and discussing over stuff like that? Eclipse comes to the forum, acts benelovent and gets a lot of ... well, let's not be rude and call it attention. Even from the admin and mods. Then in the aftermath, people start to fight over which infos COULD be talked about, although I'm pretty sure noone actually has them, and make a big deal about it.

Trainwreck is one of the weaker songs on The Altar in my opinion. It's nice but pretty all over the place. I had hoped for a music video for Judas or Haunting or Poltergeist. But either way, the visuals look really cool. I'm suprised the era is still alive

But maybe YAIL is the title track OR the lyrics are from the albums title track
