If people would state their personal opinion on the music, there would be nothing wrong with it (even though some people on this forum already take it as a reason to attack you). But people constantly come to this thread to bash her and mostly just for the sake of it. You'd think out of all fandoms Lana-fans should be above hate-bandwagons ...

Her vocals are pretty nice on Not Afraid Anymore The production is a mess though ... the song's concept seems like it's all over the place, yet everything seems pretty bland and generic. The track had more potential, but since it's just for a Mom-porn-soundtrack I'm not really disappointed. I just hope her second album will be better.

The last part IS a sample from Swan Lake.The original Mad About You sounds a bit different (a bit faster and there was another singer with a more pop-ish voice) but Hooverphonic recorded this version in 2012 during their "With Orchestra" project. Listening to this version instantly reminded me of Lana

Haha, no it was not that goofy, it was one beep at a time and not some sort of sound effect. Ultraviolence. And look what happened - we got an iconic, yet terrible iphone video and the great footage was re-cut in a very anticlimatic way for another song from a different album

Fun fact: back when F*ck You was pretty popular, I heard a clean version of it on a French radio station. There was some sort of Tamagotchi-beep over EACH "F*ck". Sounded especially weird during the bridge

sorry, but how can you "argument" with someone who is as delusional as graham? Even if Lana would chop of a man's arm in a music video while singing "Call Me Maybe", he would make a post praising and comparing her to David Bowie, Edith Piaf and John Lennon.

The fact all the "fans" act like a toddler and throw a tantrum because she did not do a lifestream she CASUALLY announced and most likely wanted to do for fun shows how she does not owe them anything. You did not donate for her to do a lifestream, didn't you? You give her "millions of dollars" by buying the music she makes because you want to listen to it and by going ot her concerts because you want to see her perform and scream along the lyrics. She does not owe you anything and none of her fans have a right to be upset with her because of this one small lifestream "incident".

Y'all got your hopes up for no reason at all, annoyed the shit out of her on social media and now you're upset that nothing happened? It was obvious, she would have posted something to announce the live stream if she wanted to put out big info. And she seemingly does not plan to do it either way, if she would she would not just forget it.
