This "artistique" visuals are super meh and tryhard. I don't like MR, but I think a video with the aesthetics of the acoustic performance would have been much better. This is so corny and cringy

But WHO is? Especially talking paparazzi pictures

I bet at least 70 sites of this are people posting stuff like "move on!" It's a goddamn forum yet people here are always so whiny when it comes to discussions. Either way they straight out attack people with different opinions on an almost personal level or they complain about people discussing about something.

There is a foundation and then there is the execution. Especially BtD is quite diverse for a Lana album. Or do you want to say that there is no contrast between Diet Mountain Dew, Video Games, Blue Jeans and National Anthem? Do you not think Brooklyn Baby, Shades Of Cool, Old Money and West Coast are pretty diverse executions of UV "sonical foundation"? It's hard to find 4 songs on HM that sound that different to each other. HBTB and Freak stick out, the rest is super similar. THIS!

No, not really. Comparing a book to an album is just nonsense so I don't have to provide arguments against it. I don't have to provide arguments why you don't compare an album with a videogame or a TV show aswell. "I think this mexican food is too hot." "Oh really? Do you think the sand is too hot in the summer aswell when you are on the beach?"

Music is a taste. But some things are not. You can't deny that HM has no big diversity in terms of tempo or production. Wether you like it or not is another thing. And no, BTD, UV and P are all cohesive, yet none of it is as monotonous as HM is. And please, comparing books with albums? That's just weak.

Again, I did never say the four first songs were the same song. I just said it starts of extremely slow and stays extremely slow, which makes the song lose a lot of appeal when listened to in this order. Then HBTB and Freak come on and the rest of the playlists decides to have basically the same tempo and the variation in the production and mood is so minimal that it just starts to feel like the album is dragging on and on. But since you are a smart boy, I'm sure you got what I meant

As much as y'all hope to become obscure hipster folks who are listening to INDIE ARTISTS, this will not happen. Making slow music that is not played on the charts does not make you indie, nor does this change the fact that she is still doing alternative pop. Noone really expects her to release a PRISM or Blackout, but she could at least spice her game up a bit.

Don't like it at all. First time I feel like tgis about one of her releases but I guess it's fine since it's just a remix
-
I hope they don't replace DYWCO with a Christina version aswell ...
-
I think Circus was a great continuation to Blackout and I prefer it over Glory.

It's better than the last few one. the only terrible part is the intro where Melanie tries to act crazy or depressed or whatever this cringeworthy stuff was meant to be.

I love the Paradise cover in all it's edited glory

If we only had the studio version of BE I have to admit I'd not really care for it. Both live versions are soooo great and I guess that's what makes me appreciate the studio version aswell. But the track alone is a bit boring considering the production

Yeah, I LOVE the live CD: Their performance of Cowboys and Over are even more intense than the studio version. I wish more artists would release live records as decent as this one. The only thing I dislike is that they did not put the live versions of Elysium and Numb on it. (this one is not from Roseland but it's PERFECT!)
