Love is cute and I'm happy she's back and seemingly excited about her stuff, yet I don't really think it's a great tune and definitly her weakest lead single so far. It's not that I think the song is not crafted in a bad way, I just don't like the direction it's taking ...

Oh gawd, Honesnooze was boring but I don't really want her to turn into an average alternative-pop-artist with floppy collabs like Gags' "Hey Gurl"

"The don't worry Baby" part kind of reminds me of the Beach Boys song, Garbage also sampled this line in "Push It"

I wonder why she chose this "To begin with ...all you need is love" phrase, it sounds kind of intriguing and as if she teases something with it

Can't really share the excitement about the lyrics, they are the weak part of the track to me. It sounds a bit like she collected lines from the instagram and tumblr accounts of her teenage fans ... they are pretty much the clichee lyrics people use in LDR parodies. The delivery kinda makes up for it, but I'd love it if the bridge would be more powerful

The fanbase consists of a bunch of teenage girls & gays and behaves like an obnoxious crowd of little brats most of the time. Loved it when she uploaded Santa Baby and said that it was "as requested by the 10y olds" or something.

So I guess the next thing we'll get is the music video and then after a while she'll reveal the album art and tracklist and we'll get a promotrack + the pre-order. Then, shortly before the album release, we'll get another track. Most likely we'll have a second video around the album release and so far we'd always heard the title track before the album came out. But the thing I'm most excited for is the album trailer, the ones for UV and HM were great!

Well, it's pretty subjective which track is "the best one". Some people think HBTB and West Coast were terrible single choices, I personally think those are great songs and great single choices (from the respective albums). And Video Games is not a track that really represents the full of BtD. If you are more into tracks like DMD or National Anthem you would not have known they would come when you heard the lead single. YAIL is a cute track and one that has the potential of having success within the mainstream music, so I guess it was chosen for that reason.

Yeah, you are totally right. I'm also looking forward to the album and what she has in store. Maybe YAIL will still grow on me, but so far it's only a nice and fresh Lana track without much depth to me. Great spring-soundtrack though.

I've finally given in and listened to the leak ... Don't know, it's a cute song and I could imagine that it might get some airplay aswell, but I'm not very excited about it. The production is not really blowing me away and though her vocals are nice, they are not outstanding compared to the rest of her repertoire. And the lyrics ... let's say the tumblr girls & gays will love them, but they are not something that drives me crazy. Still a nice song and I wonder how the music video will look like. Ok, now feel free to roast me and tell me how I am a flop fan.

Hell, even Marina's messy label reacted when her sh*t leaked. Marina herself rected even though I guess it must have been much harder for a not-as-famous-singer like her to have her stuff leaked than it must be for Lana, Not doing anything is a bad idea and especially being overly dramatic and pessimistic about it. It's sad that this happened but it does not mean the song/album can't still have it's spotlight.

Are you serious? People who leak are not big-fans who care for how the artist feels about something. Leakers want attention, that's it. She shold just post some kind of promo image or announcement for the track and that's it. They should release the single AND video asap

But srsly ... why is there no statement or single-release yet? The longer they wait, the worse it gets

I kind of get why Lana does not like promo ... as soon as she does something, her stuff leaks

Gawd I was already preparing for this sh*t when I went to bed earlier ... did not thought it would leak that very night. I'm really really sorry for Lana, but on the other hand her management should probably have cared for the actual sources instead of threatening fan sites and lanaboards with shutdowns/the FBI. I hope she still pulls through and that they do the only logic thing - release the track (and video? I'm not up to date what has been leaked) asap. Causing more drama and taking more time will end up actually hurting the performance of the song

I can't really imagine they are not noticing what's happening, I wonder why they don't release it or at least announce something
