I don't think/hope so, Love and BAR were tbe two titles we know were going around so this leak is sad but not really suprising

Sounds a bit like Fine China considering the vocals and production. Her voice sounds great and I like the tropical vibes during the chorus. However I don't think it's really very intriguing. Better than Love but still not as exciting as her previous material.

It's like one Google search and there you go. The leak spreaded like the Love one. I like the tropical/beachy vibe during the chorus and the vocals but the lyrics are terrible. And I also really feel like LDR 5 will be less special and more ... generic after hearing both Love and BAR. Is the leaked track a demo or the final version? Didn't Eclipse speak of horror movie violins that were replaced by guitars and drums?

I could actually imagine Lorde doing something like that.

I think a good crowd does not have to be silent, but the screaming and screeching is really super annoying and ruins the concerts for anyone but the ones screaming. People even ADMIT they don#t go to concerts to listen to her but to see her. A crowd does not have to make noise all the time DURING the songs in order to encourage the artist. Hell, Lana is around for a while by now, it's not as if she would be new to performing on stages.

Not everyone is such a fanatic fan as you are. You can like an artist without eatung up everything they do (or don't do) 24/7. Wishing for more promo does not really hurt her career at all, does it? I really doubt that "not doing much" is the thing that makes Lana a unique artist. Apart form that, being a fan and wanting to see some nice live recordings of her stuff are not conflicting arguments. And as you say - sine Lana's audiences are extremely noisy and disrespectful, it's hard to even really hear her on her own concerts. Good recordings of her shows or at least single tracks would preserve the beauty of her performances. And I don't think that the leak changed anything about the success of the track. Not that I welcome it, but without it I guess Lana would have waited another 2 weeks or something to even release the video for the track and i doubt they would have done more in order to make it successfull if it hadn't leaked.

apart from that, the album and vinyl release don't have to be on the same day. You can release an album and send out the vinyls later, it's not optimal but a lot of artists do it

Ok, so you want 240p Laptop videos of her singing acapella snippets into her webcam while wearing her pajamas and posing around awkwardly instead of some high quality recordings with good sound of her performing wonderful live variations of her tracks while looking gorgeous. Big budget projects don't mean you have to sell out or do generic music. Delivering quality content (apart from the music itself) is not something artists should be ashamed of. And of course, quality content does not need to be big budget if you do it right. But Lana's way of low budget projects end up being pretty meh recently and often seemed lazy, and it would be a nice change to actually get something bigger again.

It's so funny how promo is always seen out of an commercial point of view. Promo always means goodies for the fans. I love HQ recordings of performances. Imagine having a recording of her doing West Coast or Honeymoon on Letterman. Those trashy LQ social media things are ok for Instagram, but they should not be all she does for "promo". Not just because it's not reaching anyone but because some "cute little videos" are not quality content, even though some people on here will lose their minds over every little thing she does.

The post I refered to compared the promo level of Freak and Love and I said that it's something you can't compare. That's all.

Ok but what about the fact neither me or the post I replied to talked about West Coast or High By The Beach.

Don't be delusional, the event was as interesting for the GP as her Honeymoon instagram account. Noone but hardcore fans attended. Plus it was a video for a random song from an album that had been out for a while and was already dead buzz-wise. Love has posters all around cities and multiple blogs and news-sites promote it as the lead single for her new album. Of course this has much more attention.

We still HAVE All The Rage, Too Much To Dream and the demos for Purge, Alexandra and Misbelieving, it's not like they'll disappear from spotify or your Itunes library because she did not put them on the EP. So cou can easily "make" it a 15 track album. The final version snippets of Misbelieving and Alexandra sounded ike bullsh*t and IF I were to complain about something it would be that we did not get more completely new tracks, but I think even that is useless. The only problem I have with her strategy is that she's taking SOOOO MUCH TIME ... 1 year of "Unsolved" with nothing much happening. And now she wants to wait until June to release the f*cking EP?!? Why? I also hate her for not putting Casanova on Itunes or at least Spotify.
