I don't get why a shorter setlist means no variation. The fact she kept the setlist from her festival tour by default is already laughable. You can play 10 songs and not do the same stuff you always do. Apart from Video Games, I don't see any obligatory tracks, she even decided to drop HBTB and WC. It's about how much you are actually willing to do things in a dynamic way and this concert did not really sparkle of enthusiasm and passion on Lana's part.

How can you admit the setlist was bad and that she was passion-less and then complain about people not liking it? Makes no sense.

Yet all they could do was a shake phone video. Pathetic

If she sings old songs, she should at least perform them with some sort of passion, like with Cola and Lolita. But especially Born To Die sounds half-assed almost every time since mid-Paradise tour and Blue Jeans has lost all its magic by now. Ride sounds uninspired live amd I don't get why she still does Carmen. CW is already a drag on the album, the live version is even worse. Why the hell did she decide to keep just this song out of all the magic UV tracks, especially since she stopped doing West Coast, which was always great live. The only BtD/Paradise era track she should still do on a regular base is Video Games, the rest of the set should UV/HM and new material. So many artists perform multiple new songs live in advance, why are Lana's setlists such a bore? No excuse for that. Playing older tracks live is only cool if you have not been doing them for a while.

The whole event was mediocre and this has nothing to do with being entitled or pessimistic, it's a fact.

There is no excuse for her boring setlists at this point anymore. Yeah, artists stick to a sonehow fixed set for a tour, but Kana is so afraid of actually changing things up and get things going in a more dynamic way, it's laughable.

So she wore her granny's courtains as a skirt, sang the same songs she always does with the addition of a not-that-great performance of Love and did not say anything about LDR5. Or in other words - everything went as expected. But why do you all always try to talk yourself into loving her half-assed approach to things like that? It's not a catastrophe (or a big suprise) but it's not like being as anti-climatic as that is something particularly great or artistic

people make up all sorts of stuff just to get attention or whatever. no official announcements so far, so probably nothing. Knowing Lana she may just say something like "new info soon" at the end of the concert before performing OTTR and then we'll have to wait another 2 weeks for some actual info

The thing is that her songs on their own always have a high quality but HM proved that with her current artistic direction the quantity drowns out the quality.

Yeah, but those were bonus tracks. I'm totally here for bonus songs (as long as there is ONE deluxe version and not thousands of different versions of the album) but I'd prefer a shorter standard with some sort of B-sides as bonus songs. Yeah, HM's length was only a problem because of the general lack of diversity. The 15 track Deluxe version of BtD sounds like a finished album and it's dynamic enough to not get boring or monotonous.

I'd prefer a 11 to 13 track album over a longer record. A short yet high quality album has more longviety than a long one that becomes boring and stale because of lacking diversity (a la HM)

We all know Lana won't do anything extremely creative for an album cover. And rightfully so, all the gays around here only like boring frontal shots.

I hope she releases BAR as the next single, as a slap in the face for all of you greeders :3

The next single will be a promo single anyway. The track you get with the pre-order. Just like Terrence Loves You. So I really hope we get it. And please, can you all say goodbye to "successful single Lana"? Even if she releases a song with some kind of commercial appeal like Love she's not into promoting to even have it being played at radio stations.

I don't care what it's called, I just want her to release it ... I'm so f*cking scared it will be scrapped or that the final is not living up to the demo. it's such a great track!
