    it's from the ITH thread

Yeah, instead of releasing one complete Ultraviolence to us, she just spreads exclusive bonus tracks all over the place. Nope, I don't like that. I am happy for every new song, but why can't she just release them all together? I was ok with one bonus track for Itunes, you can just download there it and that's it. Now there is another one, which is NOT on Itunes, which means we all have to buy this version or download it illegaly. I like it that she's releasing lots of songs, but why in this messy, stupid way?

Personal note from Lana attached to each copy:

remember to pepper your irrational hate letter with lots of "sophisticated" words. If only I had the brilliant writing ability all you
    fuckwit talented internet critics have!

    ... Wow lana, calm down.

Well, even tough she can sing very high notes, I always feel like lana's voice has an overall deep sound, even when she uses her high/mid voice (eg. she sings very high in some Body Electric live performances, still she doesn't sound like a Birdy). I mean, during the WC/Shades of Cool/Ultraviolence verses her voice sounds deep too, comparable to Born To Die or Video Games. And i like that she keeps her style at least in some ways, I woulnd't like it if she began to sing like in her May Jailer - times again ...
The only "different" kind of voice she uses 8and still uses) is the more girly-one, like in Lolita, Diet mountain Dew, Off To The Races and seemingly Brooklyn Baby.

I meant more light in terms of sound and not lyrics^^

Where can I find all of the Itunes descriptions?

PS: Could this be a promo for Brooklyn Baby?

I can't get over how good Shades of Cool is. I listen to it and am amazed. I feel like shades of cool, once upon a dream, and black beauty are all similar soundscapes, i love iiiit

Yeah, but Cruel World will be the opening, like the "extended live version" of Cola was for the Paradise Tour,  so there is still space for an intro. The CO Theme would be awesome, especially the monologue. Imagine,  Alex saying "This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit oft the old ultra-violence" and then Cruel World would start to play with Lana doing some of her "ohooohohoooos" behind the stage ... Pure awesomeness!

So I saw that 'cold cash divine, cashmere, cologne and white sunshine' UV promo poster on tumblr and couldn't find it anywhere in hq so I made this bc it's just so gorgeous and ultraviolent.

Those lyrics "cold cash, divine, cashmere, cologne and white sunshine" remind me of 1949 or Every Man Gets His Wish. They even kinda rhyme with "We gonna party like it's 1949, We in the Pontiac/Chevrolet from July to July". Inb4 we'll get a UV version of those songs.

Well, even if it may sound weird, I really want songs like this on the album. I mean, it's called Ultraviolence, so it shouldn't bee all fun and games and just about "failed relationships" or something. UV itself .. yeah, it fits the theme, but I want more songs with "ultraviolent" topics, so Lana shows us she's not always the flower-crown-wearing girl with lovesongs.

Imagine if she samples this on one of the tracks on Ultraviolence:

Or use it as an intro for the album and/or tour

You can buy Burning Desire on its own without buying the whole album, hopefully it will be the same for Is This Happiness.

On Wikipédia, it says the Japanese Edition contains 14 tracks + 2 bonus tracks (16 tracks).
The bonus are Flipside and Is This Happiness.

Well, atleast ONE other video would make sense. I mean, there are 2 more settings we've seen, which feature the boys hanging out and some more red-dress scenes. All other scenes are infact outtakes from WC. So maybe there will be one video featuring the same settings, could imagine this for something like Brooklyn Baby.
I hope Ultraviolence gets it's own music video, as it really tells a story.

When I think about it, Pretty When You Cry could easily be slightly sappy, or something really dark. I almost imagine it along the lines of Ultraviolence ("he hit me and it felt like a kiss") where there could be explicit abuse and someone is getting physical (or verbal) and telling her she's prettier when she's crying. I dunno. But I think it could potentially be monstrously fucked up.

Lana fans are literally the most over-thinking bunch of people. lol I personally love the sound of Brooklyn Baby, the lyrics are fine. I wasnt expecting every song to be written at the highest level, but I dont think these lyrics are too bad. Maybe this song wasnt meant to be a lyrical song, but more of a just listen to the sound and feel it, type of song. Idk.

Ok so I haven't really been a member of this site for too long but I think it's fair to say that this is the exact same reaction you had to the paradise snippets, right?

"Like an American, oh ooh oh oh oh oh ooh oh oooh, like an American"

"My pussy tastes like pepsi cola, my eyes are wide like cherry pies"

" I sing the body electric, I'm on fire sing that body electric"

"I was an angel, looking to get fucked hard... Fuck yeah, give it to me"

I don't know... Bel Air and Yayo are pretty flawless lyrically so I'll stop there. My point being the chorus usually sounds pretty dumb and repetitive on it's own, for any respectable singer. Maybe this won't change your mind but if you do hate uv in it's entirety well then, ok, see ya'!

But please, if you do dislike it, then just don't talk about it here, or at the very least constructive critisism only, I don't want each thread filled with ex-fans saying "ughh I hate Lana now, her lyrics aren't insightful and her production isn't "whimsical" enough"

That being said I will agree Lana has definitly made an odd evolution as an artist, most likely because she's listening to much to the critics and trying to impress them rather than her fans. If this era produces music you'd rather not listen to then I'd understand your dissapointment but it just seems selfish to try to bum the rest of us out when we're getting all hyped and trying to diminish our opinions by saying "no your wrong, this is shit"

    M'kay? ... M'kay then.

So .. they actually recorded a lot more scenes, like the one in the room with the boys, her being  at the beach at night and her sitting around in the smoke while waring the red dress?
And then they just chose to make the West Coast Video to consist of a few beach and one million daddy-in-the-car scenes with a few "red dress"-parts?

Although I'm more into her darker tracks, I really like Brooklyn Baby, despite it being  a very sugary song as it seems. It fits the name of the song and seems to have a great atmosphere, And maybe the lyrics won't be so sugary in the full version, you know like she's the sweet brooklyn baby and then something really bad happens, while she continues to sing in this sweet-girly way. I would realyl like to see that happen.

Like with most of the other official Remices (except for example Dan Heath's Orchestral Remix) this one remixes the Radio Mix of the song, which has rerecorded vocals. "Mice check" is from the studio version though.
