Well guys, it's nearly officially out for me, I'm glad everyone seems to be having fun with it It's been really special thread, and I had my first post (and first warning point) in here. It's been a ride going from whole-heartedly believing it was scrapped to getting ready to climb into bed and listen to her with the lights off. I'm going to be off this site for some time while I gather my thoughts and get ready mentally for the next chapter of my life, and I'm glad I'll have this album as my soundtrack. Hot take: the people that call Hope her worst song aren't emotionally mature enough to recognise its greatness, its pain, and the greatness it has through expression of her pain. Hope is an extremely important song in her discography and those who don't see that are blind.

Could all of the songs on Honeymoon be directed to the Lizzy persona in a way? I was looking at the lyrics for Terrence loves you and it seemed to fit perfectly. There are a couple of songs (honeymoon, mtwbt, maybe religion, 24) that don't seem to fit as well but taking a loose interpretation of some of the songs, they seem to fit the mismatch between Lizzy/Lana that doesn't seem as prominent now. Ultraviolence is more of an exploration of the darker parts of the LDR persona that get romanticized in born to die, whereas Honeymoon feels more and more like an apology to Lizzy for leaving her behind, and a marrying of the two parts of her so she could move onto who we've seen since in LFL and NFR. I'm going to spoiler out the Lizzy-directed interpretations of each song because I'm aware this could be kind of boring lmao.

look i'm quite neutral on the whole thing and I don't think Win Edwards deserves the hate but the smugness in this post is something else. Not everyone has the money and the time to go to every one of her concerts and queue for a whole day, and if they do to be pushed out of the way so someone can get another selfie with her. I don't think he is, she's mentioned them in interviews before, just not by name, and she clearly likes them a lot. It wouldn't be a stretch to guess she'd want them to be in a video. I know a lot of people don't really like him and his friends but Lana definitely does.
