From my own personal drug battles, I can tell you that just because she did a drug doesn't mean she was addicted to it. I've done every drug out there, I did several of them on a weekly basis, but I was only really addicted to one. People are addicted to the high more than the actual drugs themselves, well in less extreme cases anyway. She may have been addicted to 'yayo', but did meth as a cheaper high, since around the years provided, you could buy a bottle of cough syrup & make meth. That's what, $5 or so bottle vs $20 or so for an ounce of yayo. A bottle could last you a day or two, an ounce could last a few hours, if that. No question about her doing drugs, just the extent of her use. I just think if she was really addicted to meth you'd be able to tell now. I did it for about 4 months recreationally and you can still tell with me... and that was about 3 years ago. I'm just glad that she's clean now. Drugs are a rough road to go down, it breaks my heart hearing of anyone struggling with it.

Her voice is just amazing. Even her speaking voice. I seriously want her to narrate audio books.

In the Y&B video she also recreated the conductor scene from the Video Games footage. So nice to see her making her visions come alive:)  

People here are starting to piss me off. Anything is an insult, you can't say that, you can't do this. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so if someone thinks the model is ugly, that Lana is fat, that the girls look like men,  they can say it. ( it would be really stupid to say some of them though, remember we are on a Lana forum). It is hypocritical to say that people can only give their opinion if it is a good one. So please.

OMG. And Lana slays me once again! This video will be flawless, I just know it. I'm sure it will be as epic as Ride and National Anthem, it will legit be the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life. Like, OMG, I am dying here. I'm crying so hard right now that I actually can't breathe, can't someone please hold me?! To all of you making mean comments about goddess Lana: she's flawless!!! Sure, she's just a wee bit fat and should probably lose a bit of weight and maybe tone her abs - but she's still perfect regardless! (Oh, btw, does anyone else think the whole stripping / go-go dancing thing could represent the loss of innocence? You know, the angel looking to get fucked hard and all that? Actually I think BJ is one of her best videos to date. Woodkid and Lana together can do no wrong. While we know how trashy she can be ( just listen some of her unreleased songs) I don't know if this image fits in this  Lana  presented to the public - a singer who is associated to the old hollywood glamour, singing about a wealthy lifestyle. I know that since Paradise ( and specially Ride video) she's been trying to disassociate her image from this "Glamour girl" thing and has been more "relaxed" about it, but there is a reason why H&M and Jaguar hired her and that's because this style fits her more than anyone. Not sure if a totally image change would be good now, but anyway I'm really excited about it

No she doesn't. Who are you to speak for HER body? How do you know if she's comfortable how she is right now  or not? Not everyone needs to have six packs. I find comments like these very rude, you wouldn't say this kinda shit to your friends, let alone someone you don't even know.

The flaming you got for saying this is really sad, to be quite honest. I hadn't even commented on this thread before because I had the exact same opinion as you and I just knew a wank fest would ensue if I actually said it. Unlike me, you weren't a coward - kudos for that.
 
When people start talking about someone else's body, they can't expect everyone to have the same opinion and only say complimentary things about it. If her current body type is a lot of people's ideal, it isn't mine, and that should be fine as well. It's not like anyone called her fat or otherwise insulted her. It's also not like we're talking about extreme thinness or promoting unhealthy ideals. It's just a preference - as in everything else in life, taste is subjective.
 
I know it's a touchy subject, but people should still be allowed to talk about it in different ways other than utter praise or hypocrisy. And I won't even get into the "real women" argument and the fact that all this "touchiness" usually only goes one way.

I feel like a couple of posts in this thread that are complimentary to Lana's weight are inadvertently saying that certain other natural body types are not "healthy", nor are they the types that "real women" have. I think it's great that there's an overwhelming show of support for Lana's body (it feels absurd to even write that ) but I don't think other body types need to be thrown under the bus to make the point. Healthy bodies and women's bodies come in a wide variety of sizes, heights, body types and weight. :3
