I started compiling her catalog to start getting into her music but I've seen that there was an original second album before Forever Neverland... does anybody have any info on that? Title, confirmed tracks etc... I'm a sucker for scrapped projects so I wanna know everything All I know is Kamikaze and Final Song were on it.

The cover is bad, but it will have 16 tracks and I really love Maybe You're the Problem so I'm expecting this to be better than her debut Needless to say, even if I love Emotions and Wild Thing, I'd rather her not to include them here. They would've fit better as bonus tracks in H&H.

I'd say this is the best way to describe it. In my opinion, Meteorite, Burn, Deadend and the 3 singles (Holding Back, The Devil, Skinnydipped) would be my the ones.

Because IPFR and Guardian really sound like single choices, and to let space for unheard songs in the album Also, in case she/the label ends up 'removing' those from the album at the last minute, if she released those as singles at least we'd have them in HQ

Lol I guess my iTunes Genre tag is very unorganised, I usually sublabel everything I have on either Pop, Alternative or Indie so But I'd say I have: Synthwave Pop Electropop Indie pop Alternative Alternative rock Chamber pop Folk Electronic Rock Art pop Hip-Hop/Rap Mostly.

Ring Pop is like top 5 unreleased Cry Baby sessions, and I particularly prefer the demo (sounds very polished imo and the pop-pop-pop line is >>>>>) Unhappy Meal is a bop too, but I see why it was left out. Like 99c Store, there's really few songs referring places around Cry Baby, so the connection with the story is kinda shallow.

Of course. Ring Pop, Coloring Book, Jumprope, Schizo and many others sound more... fresh? a JOKE I guess? "Melanie's Version" like, she's not in a Taylor Swift situation of re-recording albums, who would have the time to try and put that in Wikipedia?

There are true gems in unreleased material, although I understand there could be tons of reasons why songs sometimes are not released. Melanie literally could've made like 4 alternate stories from Cry Baby putting and removing songs from the original 13, and using so many from the outtakes. Jumprope, Schizo, Haunted, Mistakes, Psycho Lovers, Night Mime, Coloring Book, Zzzz, Ring Pop, Arts & Crafts, You Love I, A Thousand Words, Trophy Wife, Rough Love, Run, Rocking Horse etc, even the corny I Scream all could add a lot to the story if selected by chapters and combined with some from the standard edition, or whatever. Maybe if she did that, she could've explored the Cry Baby theme way further and she would've moved on by now
