Probs I found her around 2016-17, when I was in my trip-hop/alt rock full stan era (I still do btw, but it was all fresh new to me back then) so I remember reading about Sky in a forum (not LB, I wasn't here back then) and the long delay of her albums caught my interest. First I checked was the Ghost EP and fell in love completely. Also listened to some of the most mentioned unreleased (mostly the Cry Baby era) and it was quite different but I enjoyed it too). Then I went for NTMT and there I was stanning. For me it's been one of those albums that no matter how long has passed since you discovered them, they still slap hard each time. So yeah, no matter how disappointed I am for the delays, I'll be eating Masochism when/if it is released

I'd say she's going to pour her soul in this record and I am/I'm not ready for it

Got bored and my next EP comes out within a month so I decided to leak some outtakes from my previous albums in SC imo these are not as terrible and they're kinda cute. if I find more of these that sound decent i guess i'll post them too

Yet another single cover that's better than the album cover and in this one there's someone actually holding the girl what the fuck Rina, i'm probs using this one instead. Does anybody else hate these mini delays? Like, the album was already put in platforms, why is the delay? When it's a couple months is understandable they changed something important, but in this case... girl why

Sirens, Needle & Thread, Fingers Crossed, Void, Tunnel Vision, Garden and Dragon's Blood beg to disagree. While they don't have the essence of Cry Baby (which I'm glad btw), they are very catchy and well written, and cohesive between each other, indicating there is already a pretty clear vision on what's next for her career/sound/themes/character/whatever, and I'm glad to see there's some detachment from the Cry Baby character (I still feel these quite, er, part of a visual story, but more intricate than CB tbh). For what it's worth, I'll be more than fine if she closes that chapter already. CB was great as a debut album and is still her best work to date but I think it's time for a change. After School is a proof of that, to me those songs are way better written as they feel more outside of the CB character box, and it was a right move. Test Me, Numbers, Field Trip being the best imo. I'd say the songs I mentioned at the beginning, plus Death, Færie Soirée and Maze, must be finished and included in MM3, as they all show an evolution in her character and, most important, her career as an artist.

Right? And once again, your signature is the perfect fit for the post

Oh lol sorry, I didn't know. Honestly, between 2015 and 2020 I was very disconnected of her socials. Guess I missed that. Thanks for clarifying tho!

Kinda new to her and the only I've heard is her cover of Nothing On But the Radio, but I also remember reading that she was done for good with music? I kinda wasn't charmed with NOBTR but I've read good things about other songs so I'm lowkey curious.. however it's sad if she is not going to keep with music at such an early stage of her career.

I know it's been 7 years since The Fool, but I don't think I'm done with Ryn even with her long silence gaps. Truth is, she haven't given us tons of empty promises.mp3 (looking at you, Sky Ferreira and Bonnie McKee) and while there have been things that do not come to fruition, I feel like there wasn't much to buzz around a couple years after The Fool. And then she had the label limbo and the abuse situation, which I obviously understand could delay any plans and hope she is better off now. Taking as example the Sky case, well, she dropped Night Time My Time (2013) and then almost immediately after she started talking about the follow up (2014-15), gave a title, started performing songs at festivals, but didn't release anything until 2019, then a 3 year silence and a new single in 2022. In between all this decade, a lot of "it's coming! Possibly this year" iirc 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022 have been the same. At least she hasn't disappeared as of lately. But Ryn hasn't done that long of promising releases, and if I'm not wrong she only started mentioning a sophomore album more often until after Reasons Not to Die. After all that nonsense, I do hope she comes through with an album in the next 12 months. A lead single during fall, a second single in January and album by late February/March would seem a good plan, but I don't know what does she mean by "putting this record together". Mixing? Mastering? Choosing singles? Or is she in late recording sessions yet? I hope she gives a major update soon EDIT: apparently she has been teasing the album almost every year too, so don't mind me much.

Right? So we don't forget.mp3 the hell that was waiting for the song!
-
It's Sky we are talking about. She can give up anytime and it wouldn't surprise me. I wouldn't move if the album ends up ultimately officially scrapped after essentially a decade in the making.

If there were to be a release of older music on streaming I'd love to have the NTMT B-Sides. The prior stuff I'm fine without, although it would be an ACHIEVEMENT to have it. Now it's more than evident she forgot about Masochism. AGAIN.

Right?! It made me reignite my excitement for the deluxe

Joker and Eternally leaked
-
Right? I ranked them the same way. I would've loved this demo but completely polished for the Dawn of Chromatica release instead of, well, what we were given.
-
Yooo I'm VIBING to Sticks & Stones! Lyrically/songwriting-wise kinda meh, but the melodies and THAT GUITAR AND THOSE SYNTHS also the melody in the post-chorus >>>>
-
I needed that little sample/stem/whatever in the final song, and maybe the bridge added to the final, and there it is, SOTY. I actually lowkey like this version. It's very unpolished, but it's very groovy. Guess with polished vocals it would've sounded way better.

I don't think Problématique will be released. Period. Also, she teased yet another project titled Candy, with previously known titles Dirty Dirty and Choker. I guess Candy will replace Problématique in the end.

Yeah time to leak Hallelujah, I Don't Want Your Love, Out of Control full, Quicksand, or ARTPOP ACT II goddamn
-
Whoa, this was refreshing! I really miss White Dress, Yosemite and Breaking Up Slowly here, but I wouldn't know where to put them. Love this
-
Now that the Sky thread is open again, I can complain in the right place about the lack of Descending in my life Sky c'mon now ffs

Woohoo thank you! Lemme have my fun with these THIS. While I never minded Daddy Knows much, I'm highkey curious about What You Gonna Do Now

Okay so I found this apparently tracklist/draft/whatever. Is it real? I don't know. Million Dollar Baby Gone (feat. Khalid) Hold You Maybe You're the Problem Weapons Diamonds & Dancefloors My Lips Are Sealed One of Us Get Outta My Heart Cherry Man Killer Daydream (feat. Boogie wit Da Hoodie) Tongue Tied Don't Let Me Die iirc Maybe You're the Problem was track 3 and title track was track 9. This has been rearranged and also it's only 14 songs, when the original pre-order had 16. I hope they just rearranged it and didn't scrap it 'cause otherwise
