Huh, there is no fckn way that's just going to be for a 'deluxe', unless she just chooses like 5-6 songs, add them to the album and scrap the rest. At this point that's like a whole new album. It wouldn't be a bad idea if she releases it as such. Yeah, she should call it Love Still Sux or something

I thought she already was doing a new album after the label said the singles weren't doing great/weren't good enough so I assumed they made her scrap the album and start over hopefully Dr. Puke won't be involved, but who knows. And good for us I guess, that if Problématique is scrapped, we already have 8 songs from it (and Dance to Forget, but very demoish)!

I really appreciate acapellas leaking (it's always fun to mess around with them) but can we please get some ARTPOP ACT II sessions please? There must be tons. I need that album

Maybe I've been too into the MM3 sessions we've gotten, but I don't revisit her officially released previous material tbh I love the unreleased from the Cry Baby era, but I don't find myself replaying her stuff much. Surprisingly, After School is my most played album of hers (recently, 'cause when I was in junior high aka 2015-16 Cry Baby was in like top 10 most played albums of all time). That said, shoutout to Soap, Pity Party, Dollhouse, Dead to Me, Sippy Cup, High School Sweethearts and Show and Tell, probably my favourite songs of hers of all time.

If that was the case, I'd rather have Needle & Thread, Fingers Crossed and Death instead. They fit better imo. And then Sirens as the lead single

While I do prefer Needle & Thread and Fingers Crossed over Sirens, I think that, as a single, Sirens would be more impactful. However, why not having the three of them as singles though?

The Devil Is Human is finally on streaming too! I don't know if we're getting a deluxe (15 in the standard were already too many) but slapping TDIH and TWIA within the album could count as a little deluxe I guess Now if she puts Potion for Love in streaming I'll be completely satisfied

But Coconuts and HIFTB are way superior to Slut Pop... Maybe that horrid EP should've been scrapped for good and instead two more singles from the album and then the album would've been a better move. But of course, label didn't think it was good enough material etc.

Okay so after ages, Fingerprints leaked. Not the whole album, but the title track. It's really beautiful Wish more songs surface soon, Fingerprints is barely the 7th to leak (or 6th as California was actually released as a single) and I'm sure it was a complete album by the time it was scrapped.

Okay so what do we have from the album? All She Wants Born Again Coconuts Hit It From the Back Je T'adore Left My Body The Future Starts Now Your Turn to Cry I keep including Malibu and Reminds Me but I know they're not going to be in it. At least Malibu fits sonically.

I agree with this, but probably I would re-state it as/add that 99% of the music from new artists, aka from the last 3 years? Many new artists are releasing music for the trends and streaming numbers, and the lack of quality shows though other relatively new artists like AURORA (around 7 years) are a completely different story, and it shows. And even artists that have already been in the industry for a long time seem to have lowered their standards (e.g. imo Katy Perry with Smile, which cannot be compared with her older albums like Teenage Dream, One of the Boys or Prism, or Lady Gaga with Chromatica, compared to Born This Way or The Fame Monster)* and that makes the new releases often questionable, I'd dare to say. *I love Katy and Gaga and enjoy like half of Smile and Chromatica, it was just the first example that came to mind. Hope it doesn't get twisted, my main point was that musicians trying to adjust to trends (looking at you, TikTok) have made music quality different, to say the least.
