  1. Pretty sure the early sessions were being handled with Mike Dean (Madonna, Travis Scott, Lana) then something happened at label (lol!) and she changed to Jorge guy
  2. What in the Question For The Culture hell is this
  3. I saw this some time ago. Almost sure it's Fan-Made or at last "Promo Only". I think we would have heard of it before tho. I saw this some time ago. Almost sure it's Fan-Made or at last "Promo Only". I think we would have heard of it before tho.
  4. She's in a very specific lane that whatever comes out will be enough to buzz her name around. Even when Pitchfork tried to shade Don't Forget and it didn't make a dent on the song perception with every other outlet praising it. I don't know, there will always be more "what if's" (tehee) than conclusions, but there were many paths that could have propelled her career.
  5. She once posted a teaser for something with Heavy Metal Heart playing (I think it was some black and white footage while she was whipping her hair/head banging), but it seems like this has been erased from the internet. From what I gathered, it was supposed to be a Live performance recorded for MTV by Grant Singer (i think). And then nothing was released. Love In Stereo was a music video (I had no idea it was by Collin) shot on tape/VHS and something went wrong with the footage/it was lost.
  6. Wait but the tea about Love In Stereo not actually being burnt and lost in the fire? That's new for me. Always thought it was giving me "dog ate my homework". I don't know, I do feel bad and I can see where she's coming from. Deeeeeeeeeeep doooooown she's not wrong if Capitol is just greenlit the music without giving it any support and she's the one who's paying for it. Why would she record a whole album, release it, make 50 cents profit from it and then share these 50 cents with Label who's not willing to do their job, which is promoting Music and allowing budget... It's just loss for her and, while we can all live the fantasy "music not the bling", Girl does need to be compensated if she's doing her job. But yeah whatever I wish she'd speak about the Don't Forget video. Or release it???

I cannot stop screaming how the internet was basically going “that sample is bulletproof and there’s no way they can fumble the song” and then they get L*ke’s “my first trap beat” drum loop running. You can’t make this up I swear. I have no ideia of how this will work for her. For sure Nicki’s name will do a fucking ton of heavy lifting and allow this to debut on Hot100, probably even a great peak… but it doesn’t strike me as something that will last. her worst mistake was signing THAT contract instead of keeping her brand as it was.
  8. Do we know who did the cinematography on "Love"? I've been trying to find out but nothing shows up, just that Rick Lee directed. I imagined there could be someone related to Lust For Life or White Mustang as well but nothing. By far one of her greatest looking videos.
  9. There's also the fact Born To Die had Without You and Lolita on Deluxe and, like, This Is What Makes Us Girls on the standard so... she was probably just pissing on Interscope back in 2014 lmao.
  10. About the Deluxe thing debacle; people can change their minds. Gaga once said she hated the WORD "Deluxe" but mostly considered the "expanded" versions to be the official ones, so did Troye Sivan. Lana probably felt like Ultraviolence was its own thing with the standard, but we also know how Black Beauty is an important song and she also showed love to Florida Kilos performing it in few places. It makes sense that Lust For Life "Deluxe" could have been in the cards because she was still changing the album right before the release (Coachella case). I'm pretty sure it was confirmed the album was going to be like 20 songs or 18, and then the tracklist leaked with 16; she mentioned Yosemite being cut and the "4 political songs"; She was still trying to make music videos and had concepts for Cherry, Get Free and even the military video that has been assumed to be WTWWATWKD. She was interested in keeping the album rolling but then had other compromises like the Tour. About Yes To Heaven; I'm so ready. Ever since she posted that screenshot of her name on google with "I'm doing great" with LANA DEL REY YES TO HEAVEN being like the third most searched line... i knew it.
  11. She should have asked this question before Blue Bannisters. Otherwise; yes. It's an easy "coin" since she's aware of so much content being around. Putting these on Spotify and pressing a limited vinyl at obscene price would be an instant sold out.
  12. yeah these shows will end up on the MasoTimeline with "(THIS NEVER HAPPENS)"
  13. Incredible how Arcadia always sounds like a brand new song for me every time I listen to it. Because I can't remember SHIT the moment that screeching mess ends. Bad lyrics. Bad vocals. Bad production. There's really NOTHING to save from that mess. Her worst single ever. Coachella-Woodstock In My Mind outsold. I'm GLAD there's nothing as cheap sounding as Arcadia on Ocean Blvrd. I'm excited to finally play everything from Norman - Ocean back-to-back tho. Chemtrails-BB-Ocean do sound like its own trilogy.
  14. wtf sis I thought it was something new But it seems like Yes To Heaven has a 2023 release date? Idk it IS coming I can feel it.
  15. Wait... we have 3 Ultraviolence outtakes, Life is Beautiful which for sure was the most requested unreleased song for years & 2 songs she knowledged before and performed live... Yeah it is coming, I can feel it in the wind... like the something of a Bomb.
  16. Laptop demos\concepts are interesting because they're real deep insights over her mind and creation process. A "Skinnydip in my mind", if you will . We've been able to trace some melodies that were re-used in different songs and even full verses\pieces with years in-between. I can dig they might not be interesting alone, but they're great for collection purposes. About Born To Die outtakes; I'm not sure if we have a clear timeline of when she decided to stick with "BTD" as a title + concept, and having other names like "God Bless America" and "The revenge of Lana Del Rey" (Jesus Christ this one is so iconic), we can imagine some other outtakes were fitting along. I really hope we'll have more about Lust For Life (and Norman Fucking Rockwell later on) soon. I never imagined we'd have a full concept between Paradise-Ultraviolence and now we have Tropico and all the Ultra songs; Lust For Life seems like something that started as one thing and then transformed into another, and she was still changing it very close to the release (Coachella-Woodstock, the "Political Songs" that were cut, Yosemite, TNBAR...) Let's prosecute the case!
  17. It’s all quite fascinating. Trying to tie things together, maybe Tropico was supposed to be a Multimedia project of Album (Paradise songs and early ultraviolence outtakes) + Movie? But then she realized the timing wouldn’t work out and decided to go for a Born To Die “full” re-release (Paradise Edition) instead of just putting up 2/3 new songs. (This could be further confirmed for that Interview she said “the re-release now will be it’s own thing”, I can’t remember correctly but I’m almost sure if when she really confirmed the Paradise Edition after the early hints of the album being re-released). Once she figured out Paradise, Tropico was kept for the Movie only and, by that point, probably focused on Paradise material only. Didn’t she confirm Tropico when she put out that Bel Air music video with “I lost my reputation, I forgot my truth, but I have my beauty and I have my youth. Tropico Film 2013” circa November 2012? I also realize this invalidates our dreaming about track list for January 2013 but I’m sure BlackoutZone himself said Tropico was a mix of Paradise and other songs, and it doesn’t make much sense she’d tease a full album while publishing a music video for upcoming re-release, or call it just “a movie” while having a brand new record in mind. Idk idk idk just trying to understand life. summing up; I think the track list with “pink champagne/earthquakes” and other songs are basically a real early Ultraviolence sketch (songs in progress) and by that point she already had dropped “Tropico” (as an album) concept, which itself was made up for sessions from post BTD-really late 2012. The whole cost for Tropico and producing and writing as a short movie were probably being planned almost “back to back” with Ride and Anthony on her side. It sounds crazy to envision a whole movie without the music to back it up.
  18. You targets were a Slay then. There are many people complaining from big cities and almost nothing on the shelves. I don't think it's anything to bother; if they're really predicting over 100k opening week, having everything shipped on first week could mean her highest debut ever. It seems like factories couldn't keep up with demand and that's why they're delaying some shipping, but that's also good, preventing steep drops over charts. Her power!
  19. They're shipping some, but it seems like only 1\3 of orders are going out this week. Physical locations like Target are having 6 copies on shelves. - HDD saying 115k? That's a huge slay, they probably aware of the vinyl situtation.
  20. It's gonna flop hard because of the vinyl fuck up unless her streaming numbers are like, Taylor levels to compensate. The great thing is that, if they really ship most of the vinyl at same time later, there's a chance she'll peak higher or repeak somewhere since Vinyl is her strongest metric.
  21. (Why are people acting surprised if we get a tour? Like the only album that didn't have a proper tour was Honeymoon and yet she did the Festival Tour which was pretty much everywhere. YES we CANNOT consider Chemtrails\BB since there was the PANDEMIC happening) Anyway, I think she'll do some warm ups gigs like the ones in Brazil, few dates here and there and then they'll announce a proper Tour for late 2023\early 2024. And with that yes I mean Born To Die: The Paradise Reloaded Monster Edition 5.0 meet me under the pale moonlight in my red dress next to the blvrd Tour.

Hey Boy\Shock Me. She was in her Stupid Hat bag i fear. Screams. God I love these Poppy snippets, she had a great way for that "surfing pop" like Back Together Yeah but we NEED the ALX songs. Phantom, In The Garden and (I still dream I know it doesn't exist) Homebound with that long ass beautiful synth intro. I'm so excited for her comeback. Cape God sonically wasn't something that attracted me 100% but the world building was otherwordly. Quite funny how CLX II is an outliner in this aspect.
  23. Someone here was looking for scrobbles on last.fm and there was a full list, but I think real "Desire" outtakes are "Dang" (which seems to be an early concept, maybe when they were toying the E.P. idea) and Rare Beauty (which seems to be replaced by Hopedrunk Everasking, since that was the only unheard\new title). Original Post: Eclipse then posted the tracklist when it was 13 songs long.
