Also, I said it a few pages ago, the production is very LFL. They could've at least altered the production to fit NFR better.

They definitely just used the old instrumental and slapped the "semi new vocals" on it. Quite messy

If you listen to it with a good set of speakers (or earphones), you can tell that the new bits just don't flow well with the existing verses in terms of sound quality.
 
I'm all for the new TNBAR if it had been re-recorded properly (by Jack). I just think it's a missed opportunity. 
 
But maybe Lanz wanted grandpa rick to have some income from her new album too, who knows 

I'm probably the only one thinking this but TNBAR is just so Lust For Life era to me, I don't think it fits the album. 

Exactly. When the LQ leak happened, the first thing I though when listening to Cinnamon Girl is that it's straight up a BTD/Paradise track, especially the outro

The album is SO MUCH BETTER in HQ it's insane

Yeah, and California has a more noticeable/beautiful intro which I think the LQ recordings either cut off or just didn't make it sound clear

Finally someone with clean ears! When I was listening to the album I couldn't help but think that it gave the same vibes as Paradise did, and this is coming from someone who hates album comparisons. I'm not saying they sound the same but the pacing and the atmosphere is very Paradise-esque, from the grand opening (Ride/NFR), to the sometimes playful aura and the late 50's/early 60's vibe some tracks have.
