I haven't watched much of it, but the audience is generally respectful, which is good.

This book came out in 1988, and wasn't even the first on the subject - just the first one I had the misfortune of reading.

In fact it's 2011 all over again in the Steregum comments - dorks claiming her dad bought her career, and getting hung up on her 'persona'

I'm not sure if this will link at the right time, but the part of interest is from about 7:20

The new Nervosa is pretty cool. Out now/streaming already in Australia, and if it's not available where you are, it will be very very soon.

This is purely a guess, but because of how specific it is, maybe she's talking about a friend or someone she knows, from Vermont, who was meant to come but couldn't?

Thank you for sharing this great story, Elle! It sounds totally magical. -
I haven't heard it since someone posted it from a BBC broadcast, I think in the Tunnel pre-release thread, but it's just bizarre - more like a trailer for a song than an actual song.

Just popped up on Youtube.

Never worry about specific details like that straight from Lana - she is never precise. It could mean three years and could mean thirteen.- 121 replies

I loved this interview. Sure, there's not much in the way of new information for the superfans here, but it's not really aimed at us - it's aimed at the industry and general music fans, and I think it's perfect at pitching what she's doing now, for those people. -

You're right. It's phrased a little strangely, but she means that you start to wrongly believe that Safety should be the most important thing, when it should be passion, and trying to stay safe leads to losing your power as an artist. -

The venue really should hire you as a weather/storm consultant. -

Lana at Revive Clinic in Beverly Hills, CA - September 6th, 2023

Although she hasn't converted formally (that takes a long time to do, as in at least a year or two), it might have been a gift from a Jewish friend that they wanted her to wear. It's hard to say, but it's also not that big a deal (not on the same level as Madonna thinking she'd become the spokesperson for Kabbalah for a while). -
I couldn't agree more with this. 90% of books should be no longer than 100 pages (very, VEEEEEERY rarely they deserve more). I have the same opinion of movies, though - 90% of movies should be restricted to 40 minutes in length, and you should have to justify going longer than that.

I'm getting genuinely emotional that not only is this masterpiece one week away from 500 weeks on the Billboard 200, but it's trending upwards, and just had its biggest day every on Spotify.- 527 replies
