  1. Can anyone who has an actual copy of either the CD or vinyl, that is not a first press, confirm that there are physical copies of the album that have the proper version of 'Fuck It I Love You?', and if so, whether there is any way to tell the difference. I want to buy it, but don't want to get just another copy with the same 'wrong' version.
  2. Apparently 'The Blackest Day' is going viral in Mexico? https://twitter.com/chartlana/status/1693057820915020103
  3. I know a lot of cool Taylor fans, but the ones who don't have any class really take it to the next level.
  4. I always thought the most savage line ever about an ex- (or in that case, a soon-to-be-ex) was Nick Cave's 'Darling you're the punishment for all my former sins', but this has some rippers.
  5. I love the lyrics more than the song, and I love the song a lot.
  6. Accusing the festival security, without any evidence, of negligently killing one of its patrons by dumping her in the street, and by extension blaming Lana for callousness that led to that death, is perhaps not dumb, but it's a bunch of other words I'd rather not use here.
  7. I usually namecheck ancient bands, but you might enjoy this which is very recent
  8. I wish fans would realise when a song is out of their vocal range ...
  9. "There's always a but" is the 2023 equivalent of "Does anybody remember laughter?"
  10. This is a pretty minor list, but not only is Lana in the top 50, she's also obviously photogenic enough to be the top left on the photo grid that heads the article. https://www.billboard.com/photos/best-album-covers-of-all-time-6715351/
  11. Rob's just ended. Can someone please give me a link?
  12. Rob's livestream is so brilliant as a viewpoint that most of us will never get.
  13. I'm watching the video of it right now and I can't even imagine. That half turn she does at the 'Except for the Stage' line ...
  14. I agree with this. Even though she's in the more alternative branch of pop, people judging alternative awards are very iffy on her, for various crappy reasons (see Brooklyn Baby for details). Pop industry folk seem the most able to enjoy her artier side.
  15. Fire Walk with Me is essential and great. It was released as a stand alone movie in the cinema, and was pretty widely disliked, because it's impossible to understand without having seen the series, but if you like the series, you'll like the movie. The Return is, in my opinion, even better, but not everyone likes it because of its quite different approach. Go in without expectations, and particularly don't expect answers or closure. Also, Mulholland Drive is sort of a companion movie to the Twin Peaks saga, so you should watch that either before or after 'The Return' (it doesn't matter which).
  16. I get that everybody's joking, but she didn't post 'This was expensive' to mean 'I need to recoup a few hundred dollars from Youtube so go and watch it'; she meant 'we put a lot of money and effort into this. Go and watch it'. Also, I've never seen a better example of entitlement and 'it's all about MEEEEEEEEEEE' than that comment. I hope they're only 13 years old and grow out of it by 15.
  17. Tell someone to fuck off and die, without using the words 'fuck off and die'
  18. Not me sitting watching videos at 6.30 am, crying my eyes out to Hope and For Free.
  19. This is a pretty good sounding version of a lot of the show
  20. Since the first show of the tour, I've had this delusional idea that the show is not a concert in the normal sense, but is a self-curated juke box musical covering Lana's whole career (which is why there are pre-BTD images behind her, and she uses different wigs, etc). This version of Hope only adds to the delusion.
