she should REALLY dive into making this a club album by having the songs all bleed into each other like a real DJ set. that would actually tear my scalp off.

Idk i've liked a heavy majority of the music charli has put out. I could probably count on one hand all the charli songs i genuinely don't like. not everything has to be boundary-pushing alien sounds from outer space to be good. Crash is a great album and her most well-received album for a reason
Her label's release schedule is frustrating but it doesn't change my opinions on the actual music at all
I trust charlotte  Atlantic is a different story 

'XCX World', or whatever she would have called it, was fresh at the time it was created and she would have been behind of the PC Music craze and do a pop album that was very avant garde IF she would've released it at the end of 2016/beginning of 2017, but it would've tanked if she would've released it once we were begging for it and started leaking her stuff! The release of Boys was the beginning of the end.
 
I don't think we would've gotten Pop2, but she should've still released that AND if she had kept Issues then she would be a very big pop star once she started on Charli. Then she could release mediocre albums like Crash and be very relevant, just like artists like Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande do, but she would've had a huge following!
 
Vroom Vroom came out of nowhere and it was amazing.

With Starfucker release and now No Comma teaser we are really seeing the difference between the two in terms of artistry. Slayyyter has an extremely clear creative vision and is actually able to take inspirations and make something new with them.
 
Its clear Slayyyter has a passion for music and creating. Kim just seems to want to be rich and famous and will doing anything she desperately can to get there. She wants to be a pop star without making the pop.

I'm just going to pretend that the era didn't start until this week. The prior teasing has been erased from my memory. 
XCX6 era started with The Face photoshoot and interview and then she announced the lead single the next day!

I really don't want to believe the album is coming Friday because I don't want to go through the disappointment of the lead not even dropping until 2/29.

my tinfoil hat conspiracy theory at this point is that she chose a thursday for the boiler room so she could surprise drop the album the same night and the drawn out release for the single was secretly to build hype for the album without explicitly giving anything away, which is why we still don't have a date for von dutch because she's actually dropping the whole album. this way she appeases the label and who's gonna be mad that von dutch took so long when there's like 11 other songs to listen to. her month off was to make sure everything was lined up and ready to go. seems very antithetical to the 8 month lead up to crash, "similar in its ethos" to the quick release of pop2, and very on brand for her idgaf era. so xcx6 out this friday.
