  1. Hmmm... Pebe co-wrote some of Kesha's song so I think she had some kind of "contract" too?
  2. Not really. She literally couldn't do anything, her contract was just terrible. She is/was the only artist signed to Kemosabe Records (Dr. Luke's label) and she is/was his main source of money. "Ke$ha" wasn't even her name, it was Luke's. Now she's just "Kesha". I'm happy that she didn't have to make a big change in her stage name, it would be a real mess.
  3. I didn't know that about Chris Brown I mean, I didn't know he was "banned" in some countries. Gaga has never worked with Dr. Luke, but I think she meet him. Gaga is a "good friend" of Kesha and I think she knew all her story with Luke so that's why she made the Do What U Want video. The story of the video fits with all this mess, and that's why Gaga said "the world isn't ready for the DWUW video". Idk, but I'm happy that the video never came out cause it was going to be a HUGE mess.
  4. I've been reading a lot about this and yes, it's terrible. Dr Luke is not just a shit hit-maker/record producer, he's a horrible person. He's an authoritarian and he wants to control everything - Britney Spears' Femme Fatale, Miley Cyrus' most famous singles, Katy Perry's career, etc. I do believe in Kesha, she's not a drama queen and she never really wanted lots of attention. It's so sad because she is so talented. She can sing, write, produce and she has such a nice personality. I don't think Lukasz will go to jail. Look at R. Kelly, some rumors say that he raped teenagers and he's still there... releasing albums, videos, performing. But I do hope he loses his job... it would be immoral if someone wants to work with him after all this freaking mess. Good luck, K$! P.S.: Wow at Gaga supporting her
  5. Born to Die era. I think it was when the National Anthem video came out.
  6. You're right @@buster. I remember I spent 10 hours in the line.
  7. I can't make a Top 5 but these are my favorite performances: "Blue Jeans" live at Le Grand Journal - She looked beautiful and her voice was flawless. It's such a powerful performance and her vocals in the last chorus >>>. "Body Electric" live in Frankfurt (April 20th, 2013) - Everything about this performance is extremely haunting and sexy. Her dress, her voice, the stage, her sexy movements and, obviously, the song itself. I just love it so much. "West Coast" live at Coachella Festival - You're right, this is one of her most haunting performances ever. The night was just so beautiful, the band were incredible and she was so excited and happy (+ she looked so fucking hot!). "Video Games" live in Buenos Aires (November 14th, 2013) - My love for this performance is not because it was in my country, it's beyond that. First, her dress, her hair, everything, she looked like a doll! Her voice... wow... so touching. She was about to cry (she didn't but she cried during "National Anthem" though). The connection with the crowd was incredible, they were singing along every single word, it was lovely. AND, the "it's loving YOUUUUUU" in the end was "Cola" live in Milan (May 7th, 2013) - I don't know what to say about this one tbh, I just love it so much. Beautiful dress, great vocals and awesome crowd. Of course I have lots of favorite performances but these are incredible imo.

I'm extremely obsessed I literally got a boner listening to Weak Spot
  11. Mmm Yeah Do you believe in God?
  12. I know you all hate it but... the UV artwork is beyond beautiful imo
  13. This is EVERYTHING. I don't even know how to describe it, it's a very strange song. Mother Nature slayed me once again
  14. I obviously love the live strings on Born to Die/Paradise tracks but for Ultraviolence they're kind of unnecessary. She's slowly changing the setlist so she doesn't really need them. She's recently added a new member to the band, though!
  15. It's fake. ----------------------------------------------------------- I don't have a favorite song yet

I've finally listened to the whole album and I'm extremely disappointed. It's weak, predictable, and it sounds dated. It sounds like an indie Disney album... the melodies are not even good. "The Sex" part is just horrible, however, "Timebomb" is amazing. "The Love" is the best part, I really liked "Moments" and "Not On Drugs". And then we have "The Pain", the only good track here is "Habits (Stay High)". I don't really know what to say about this album because it's very weak, it doesn't have any incredible song, it all sounds so dated and cheap, and her voice is, sometimes, unbereable. - The Sex 01. "My Gun" 5/10 02. "Like Em Young" 3/10 03. "Talking Body" 3.5/10 04. "Timebomb" 8/10 - The Love 05. "Moments" 5.5/10 06. "The Way That I Am" 5/10 07. "Got Love" 4/10 08. "Not On Drugs" 5.5/10 - The Pain 09. "Thousand Miles" 3/10 10. "Habits (Stay High)" 6.5/10 11. "This Time Around" 2.5/10 QUEEN OF THE CLOUDS - 4
  17. She's also done Money Power Glory and Fucked My Way Up to the Top
  18. Yes that's what I'm thinking. Sometimes, she looks bored, but I think it's because she really needs to change the setlist. I don't think it's depression or something, just that, she's been doing the same setlist for 2 years.
  19. Video Games in September 2011, but I didn't pay enough attention to it. Then, in June 2012, I searched for "Lana Del Rey" on YouTube and I listened to Born to Die (song), I deeply fell in love. It was such a strange and beautiful feeling. The next songs were Million Dollar Man, National Anthem, Money Hunny, Carmen (I was really obsessed with this one) and when I first heard Blue Jeans, good-fucking-bye, I became a fan. The chorus made me feel something that I have never felt before. Wonderful.
