This is so depressing. But well, she doesn't care about money/fame/#1s anymore... she wants to be free and happy. Literally can't wait for her new music, I don't care if it's released in 2016 or 2020.

I hope this doesn't go very viral. Too much scandals this year... anti-feminism, "I wish I was dead already", UV (song), lol.

In the interview where the Eli Roth comment on working with Lana and Manson came from, the first question he was asked was "do you think the sexual abuse of women adds to horror?"
He first rebutted this, saying of course not, it's horrible. Then he goes on to say that in Straw Dogs, the rape DID add to the film.
Fetishist.
I'm sorry but I just think it was entirely inappropriate in it's context. It wasn't empathizing, it wasn't a film with a storyline, or a music video with a message, it wasn't abstract and arty. It was nothing but, and I gag as I quote, "random acts of violence". Enough said.

I've received a couple messages about the song/movie also from someone who attended the premiere. What they've said:
it plays once during the movie (lyrical) and definitely one other time (instrumental), possibly two. "the song is about her innocence and not being able to stand up to her husband." "it reflects the somber mood of the paintings as well as how Amy Adam’s character feels as a housewife being forced into near slavery to crank out these paintings while her husband takes all the credit." They added that the song is very fitting for the movie. It has the same tempo and tone as Ultraviolence (the song) The chorus is “biii-g eyes, …. biii-g eyes" and there is a mention of loving daddy And finally I asked if it was as orchestral as Y&B and they said no. I was already pumped to see the movie but now i'm over the top with excitement since Lana + Tim Burton is going to, I assure you, be magical

She is a catholic
She eats Spaghetti every night with plain tomato sauce (apparently)
The guy who she wrote Video Games about played World of Warcraft
She LOVES vanilla ice cream and cotton candy
Her birth name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant (biggest reveal ever )
She wrote everything on BTD, except for 1 line in Diet Mountain Dew
She thinks songs like DMD and Kinda Outta Luck are "just fluff" and doesn't take them very seriously
She is offended when someone calls her music boring because the music is an embodiment of her, so she interprets it as calling her (as a person) boring
After she created BTD her life goal was achieved and the rest of her goals in life are more personal to her
She finds it important to abide by the laws and be a good citizen
She used to get money by getting 100$ jobs on craigslist
She is interested in technology and the future
She has read a number of esoteric themed books
She likes listening to audio books and driving at night
She likes to take walks
She is the original leaker
Those come to mind right now, I hope you find them useful

Hi guys,
I'm new here so I don't know how it goes here, I hope I can post here something
So I created this thread to get to know Lana more. I've been Lana fan from the November 2013 and I've been reading some threads and I don't know what are you guys talking about It really dissapointed my soul ( ). So, if this thread broke some rule, I'm really sorry
Ok, I wanted you to write fact (one or more) about Lana. But not some fact, I want you to write a fact you think I probably don't know. Or a fact that some new Lana fan doesn't know.
Thanks and don't be angry at me if this is stupid
Love,
Shila

Guys, this is my first post on the thread, and I just kinda wanted to tell you guys how I met twigs and how I've transcended since then lol.
So on GGD, This kid started doing a podcast and I decided to join it cause I thought it might be fun, and on the first episode, we discussed two weeks. I heard it, but I didn't Listen to it. I thought she was dope and she had a very exotic look. A few weeks later, my twitter feed kept showing people very fond of LP1 so I decided to download it. I must say, it has quickly escalated to be one of my favorite albums of all time, it's so unique. All the sounds that I love hearing (such as a distortion, very dark/tangy samples-colorful instrumentals and bass) all put together with a very rare and recognizable voice full of personality.
I kept looking for videos of her doing interviews (HOW COME THERE'S ONLY LIKE 4-5???) and she said something that hit really close to heart, she said that dancing wasn't her passion, that the music that made her dance was. I related to that instantly. I also began watching all her collaborative dance videos and I'm so amazed. everything about her so far isn't at all "meh" or mediocre, everything is at the top of it's game, I find that so remarkable
Also, I need Glass & Patron in my life, that GoogleGlass advert changed me..
