I am HERE for what she is saying and I am so happy she is taking back her voice (or finally demanding that she even has one). THIS is what I wanted to see. It makes me happy that she isn't ashamed or dissapointed in her past work and past inspiration for writing- despite others pretending it doesn't exist, just so they can more highly praise her newer music. She's owning her past, and I am so haunted by what she said: "the kind of woman who says no but men hear yes". That almost made we want to cry and scream. This is what I'm going to show someone when they dismiss Lana as a powerful influential singer and a strong woman just because she chooses to sing about her own true experiences which have constantly evolved.

that is the opposite of what is happening. she's like okay i'm over it. i put out two safer albums lyrically and now i will express all the negative shit i've experienced this past few years. process to mental health comes with good and bad things, and so far she showed us the brighter side of it. 

Why? Because you don't want her to post this kind of stuff? Marina stopped using social media because reading comments etc didn't help her mental health. Lana is clearly living for the drama, she knows what she's doing. She's speaking her mind, like she always did. She's strong enough to face this this time around.

This like It's not that we're forcing ourselves to defend her. I read and understand what she saying. 

tbh the fact that this has been the #1 worldwide trending topic on twitter for almost an entire day is blowing my mind. like, we all know that was phrased clumsily af but at this point she's being intentionally misconstrued & a lot of the meaning/intent being attributed to her post is projected. there's also a pretty big gap between the severity of what was said & the magnitude/duration of the backlash. the (some malicious) think pieces are already piling up, so i think our girl both streisanded herself and proved her own point. personally, at this point i hope she doesn't delete / apologize / explain.

I’m done speaking on this because like I said from the start people are misinterpreting her and instead projecting their own deep rooted issues on to her when she wasnt speaking on anything related to the shit they’re bitching about. I 100% agree and support her. She is not racist and she was not at all trying to bring those women down. She was naming women she admires and sees as highly successful. This proves that most people rly need some therapy.
