  2. wow. is that a reliable source? if so, i think honeymoon could be released before her tour.
  3. I definitely think Lana is the type of artist who people will talk about years from now. People talk about her even when she's not releasing music. She still appears in magazines and is still discussed by people just because she is that unique and polarizing. I feel like people know her impact in the music industry, and even if they don't personally like her, they know about her. She is somebody who sticks around and is not forgotten easily because of the caliber of her art.

  5. Who's producing, though? That plays a big part in the record's sound.
  6. Do you guys think MTWBT will be the first single? A promotional single?
  7. This album is so incredibly DIVERSE and UNIQUE. Nothing like this exists. This was Lana's sign of pushing musical, lyrical, and artistic boundaries within popular music. Every single song is a knockout, to be honest. A.K.A. has flawless continuity, yet you can easily differentiate each track. The lyrics, while not as strong or poetic as Sirens, still paint a beautiful Americana image and nostalgic feelings. The album is a fusion of so many different genres and influences. There's indie, pop, rock, folk, and electronica. She created an image and a name for herself with Lana Del Ray. One of her best works to date, in my opinion. I prefer it over Born To Die. Favorite tracks: For K Part 2 Queen of the Gas Station Kill Kill Jump Raise Me Up
  8. 100% here for this album. It sounds so classic and just like Lana going back to her roots while still bringing something new to the table. I'm glad she's obviously inspired and has found her muse again. Stylistic changes are development are always good for an artist.
  9. Do you ever try to sing a Lana song? Yes, I like to sing Lana's songs. Most of them I can successfully sing, but others are too low. Is it hard or easy to duplicate her sound? Whenever I'm singing I don't try to sound exactly like her, I put my own style to it. But, I don't think it's very difficult to sound like Lana. Depending on the song, you have to be very nasally and cute or very silky and deep. My vocal range is C3 - G#6. I'm think I'm mezzo-soprano, but not positive.
  10. Yellow Flicker Beat is Lorde talking over some weird instrumental... nowhere near Big Eyes. I truly think Big Eyes is the best nominee, but I doubt it will win. It should've been I Can Fly.
  11. its usually deemed "boring" or "unimportant" or its branded as a "filler track." from what I've seen, most people pretty much forget it exists. I just think the nirvana-ish guitar is so raw and gorgeous as well as her soulful vocals and simple yet poetic lyrics. Flipside is a favorite for sure.
  12. Flipside is the best on the record.

  14. none of the lyrics from that particular snippet were found in any of the songs, so it looks like "there's no rush anymore..." won't be on then album
  15. Eminem isn't even a good rapper though lol
  16. the riff during the bridge in MPG when the guitar kicks in for the chorus of gods and monsters the drum rolls in cruel world and west coast "witch hazel" in is this happiness
  17. It doesn't matter whose name was put in the song - it's disgusting any way. He is glorifying domestic violence and essentially making a mockery of the pain the Janae Rice has experienced personally. It's not a "joke."
