The intro to this song is so "hawaiian glam metal" and would have fit perfect on AKA, although I hope she uses this kind of sound on Honeymoon.

I wasn't trying to argue with you, I'm just saying that it's easy to see how some people can find the song boring, and that's fine. They don't have to like the song, it's a matter of taste. And it doesn't make them any less of a Lana fan.

I mean, you can't really blame them. Although I love the song and it's simplistic beauty, there is next to no instrumentation and the lack of a consistent beat. It's just more orchestral than what some people wanted. You can't argue with their opinions, everybody will have a different feeling for the song - and rightfully so.

Her vocal control is really impressive here, as is her vibrato. It's very smooth, and the layered harmonies are very atmospheric. This, combined with the screeching strings make a masterpiece.

I think it would have been really cool if during the chorus, a drum beat would have kicked in a way similar to the Ultraviolence chorus. Anyways, I think it's a really beautiful song and I love this fresh new sound. This has me very excited for the record.

this SLAYED me. it sounds gorgeous, the strings are amazing, the harmonies breathtaking. I've never been more excited for honeymoon. The video is serving UV teas, I hope it's more exciting.
