  1. I love the little oxymoron in "fallible deity". To be both imperfect and both sacred; or in a different way of reading it, she's saying that she was made divine and scared through error, which again, goes against what a "deity" literally is. It's just such a wonderful use of language.

    Forbidden Snacks

My parents actually had to hide this lip balm from me when I was a kid because I kept eating it. The worst part is I believe The Body Shop stopped selling these in the late 80s and I was born in the 2000s.

  4. For a billion and a half dollars in shipping and handling fees if you live one inch outside of the US border
  5. I noticed that the speed/tempo fluctuations in Candy Necklace seem to be electronically created (rather than the band playing and slowing down while recording); I wonder if this aspect is what made that reviewer refer to it as "glitch pop"?
  6. I knew I trusted your vibes to be great.
  7. I think she gets too much criticism for capturing the morbid curiosity for such things that we all have, even if some try to pretend they don't, and turning it into really impactful and beautiful art.
  8. OMG I literally didn't make this connection I love the idea of "Let The Light In" being a sort of double-entendre on the tracklist that signifies the light at the end of the tunnel
  9. Can I just say the vibes in this post-release are infinitely better than they were in the pre-release. Ocean Blvd really healed us
  10. What are they mad about? Glamorizing a murder (hello, there's an entire genre of film devoted to that)? It's been almost 100 years.
  11. She'd have discovered Lizzy when living in NYC and still be the biggest Lipster.
  12. It's weird, it's only for some songs? Maybe it's an easter egg for something
  13. Currently: 1. Lust For Life 2. Ocean Blvd 3. NFR! 4. Chemtrails 5. AKA 6. Ultraviolence 7. Honeymoon 8. Blue Banisters 9. Born To Die
  14. Super Deluxe Edition featuring the 20 minute long “Psycho Lifeguard” track coming one month after the standard deluxe, in May
  15. The person who made this should pay more attention in school and spend less time on creating fake documents
  16. Also not each bonus track being an average of 9.5 minutes long. “Say Yes To Heaven (Lana’s Version) [10 Minute Version] (From The Vault)”
  17. I’ve been listening to the interludes way more than I expected. I don’t even skip them on shuffle
  18. I think it was end of February? It wasn't really a big deal for anyone not within the family, but it did raise some eyebrows within the family about why this person took a top secret trip to the old family home she hadn't been to in years, without telling a single soul (the housekeeper accidentally let it slip)--and whether she secretly had some sort of agenda. When was the last time you regretted a purchase?
  19. I actually love "Sweet". And if it was an unreleased track from 2015 everyone would be eating it up and creating YouTube fan edits to it Do you wanna marry me? Do you wanna run marathons in Long Beach by the sea?

    Instagram Updates

slightly drunk in a party bathroom checking LB (what else’s is new) and this is making me tear up
  21. Is it sad? I'm torn. I almost feel like it's theme is one of melancholic contentment
  22. I've had this album on repeat since Thursday night (and my Last.FM stats prove it). I really don't think I clicked with one her albums this immediately and this deeply since Lust For Life. I feel like this album literally reached into my soul and grabbed something at the core of it
  23. I actually think it kinda bridges the album from the more somber sounds to the more pop/trap sounds well. It would’ve been jarring going from LTLI to Fishtail, imo!
