Can we sue her cat if it doesn’t come tomorrow?
  3. This song is produced by Madonna and is gonna build up to a huge key-change and screaming vocals and a huge beat drop. If you don’t believe that you’re literally delulu bc all the signs point to this being the only possibility.

this reply on the Blue Banisters announcement made my night.
  5. maybe she's born with it, maybe its mephedrone... why can't we get a nice little written up press release along with the official cover like Taylor fans do smh
  6. bestie I love you but if this age's poorly....
  7. no she isn't, no she doesn't, and no we don't
  8. "So Legit" feat. Madonna on Blue Banisters out July 4th confirmed
  9. This singlehandedly cured by finals-induced constipation
  10. Besties I need y'all to start making fan made album covers RN bc I refuse to look at that pic in my music library
  11. Does she mean June 4th? Bc thats the first Friday in June (and closest to the June 1st date for RCS). July 4th is a Sunday?
  12. Rock Candy Sweet--Single out June 1st; Blue Bannisters--Album out July 4th?? I'm so confused
  13. More than that, if Lana keeps moving towards alternative wtf is that gonna sound like with a Madonna feature? Madonna's vocoder mumbling through those gold-grillz over a twangy psychedelic Lana beat sounds like 3 out of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse... my favourite novel of all time. But if she did this she'd be dragged bc of the Taylor comparisons (who claims Rebecca inspired "Tolerate It")
  14. In "Dark But Just a Game" I hear "Sweet, sweet poet of the baby"
  15. Reminds me of the line "Lolita had been safely solipsised". People really erase Lana of her identity and just project whatever they want based on some weird Tumblr edit of her they saw once in 2012.
  16. But ya I feel like this album is gonna be a departure from the NFR/COTCC vibe. Even if JA is still the main producer, he's actually pretty versatile I feel--the man produced both "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things" and "August" after all

Noooo I hope she'll stick with the alternative genre for the same amount of time she spent with Country and Pop. I want 2020 TS to be alt all the way through the decade
  18. Since I was on leave when the album dropped... My thoughts: Wild At Heart was my favourite from the first lesson. As you may know, I’m a slut for Mariners Apartment Complex—and this song reminded me so much of Mariners and How To Disappear. Does anyone know if the chorus is a Princess Diana reference? But those guitars are heavenly and her voice sounds amazing. Dance Till We Die is my second favourite, mainly because of that bopping bridge (I find the first verse’s lyrics to be a bit cringe sorry)—I love it when she kinda raises her voice and sings with that raspy passion, and the melody is so groovy (reminds me of that song from AHS: Something Or Another). Yosemite ranks as my 3rd. There’s something so freeing about it, the vibe (not necessarily any actual composition) reminds me of Get Free in a way (also the Lust For Life satellite sounds are a welcome return!). Dark But Just A Game is super sexy and kinda reminds me driving at midnight. Tulsa Jesus Freak is also sultry with her whispering, it makes me wanna drink whiskey. Not a big fan of the vocoder thing though tbh. White Dress wasn’t really a standout for me, and the “Down in the men in music business conference” line makes me crinkle my nose involuntarily but I can’t help getting it stuck in my head, it scratches an itch in the worst possible way. The singles are obviously amazing, but I often skip them bc I overplayed them lol. The features are my only genuine skips, but that may be prejudice, as I went into my first listen knowing I wouldn’t like them; self fulfilling prophecy. As of right now: 1. NFR 2. COTCC 3. Honeymoon 4. Ultraviolence 5. BTD 6. Paradise

this 10000%. Even her vault/scrapped tracks from fearless are better than what almost any other pop girl has put out in 2020-2021

@The Greatest excellently written. I do worry about the quality of a potential 3rd album, in all honesty. Though I love evermore, I find it to have more "skips" (completely objective, I know) than folklore--which contrary to what people say on this thread, has 0 skips. I would also worry about a potential 3rd album getting lost in the current hype. Between listening to Fearless for what is really my first time (I was 8 when the album first came out and not much of a fan back then), and the upcoming vault tracks from her big albums (Red, 1989); I worry the tracks of a 3rd album would quickly be overshadowed--unless she perhaps takes the same amount of time between woodvale and 1989 (Taylor's Version) as she did with evermore and Fearless (Taylor's Version); 119 days, suggesting 1989 (TV) would come out late August/early September. I also wonder if the "woodvale" title being in the evermore booklet is proof it doesn't exist? Unless she had also hidden the word "evermore" somewhere in the folklore album, why would she do it for a 3rd instalment and not the 2nd? Or perhaps she doesn't want the 3rd to be a total surprise like evermore was? We shall see in less than a week!
  21. June 11/June 1 is giving me major "guys it's a typo she meant September 25th not 5th bc the 25th is a Friday so obviously COTCC is coming on the 25th of September" vibes...

I find anything below 60 degrees chilly tbh. Tbh I wear coats when it’s in the high 50s.
  23. you don’t? I have no doubt in my mind she could totally just drop this album on the 19th without saying a word tbh
