okay i was bored and made this theory on how 9 folklore tracks are connected and tell the story of Betty and James lololol

The Republicans have undermined the most important branch of government, and I hope the political poison that they have injected into our system is lethal only to them.

thank you to the 7 people still using itunes for buying it! jkjkjk i know itunes is still big outside of the US. also, don’t understand the “there’s no melody/there’s no production” comments? she said she wanted a midwestern vibe, so i don’t know why some people are surprised this isn’t UV2.0...this is exactly what i would’ve wanted from a midwestern LDR track!

there are so many intricacies in the production. like the ever-so-soft drums in the chorus, the layered vocals, the electric guitar panned to the left...jack really is a genius. didn’t even notice until i watched the video and listened more and more.

It's beautiful. Jack can produce her vocal so well. The layering, the folksy sound, the lyrics--this was everything I was hoping the album would be when she said it's "very midwestern". I was worried her next lead single would fall short of "Mariners", but this is another home run.
