I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m really curious to see what the last track of BB is. The last line or lyric of her records typically embody the album well, so I’m excited to see where this trend takes us

Omg I was thinking this exact thing when she teased the clip, and her more recent Video Games comment really ties it together! Video Games (in her words from interviews) was the perfect representation of herself, and we saw how it ultimately acted as a novel invitation into her musical world. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but I like to think that her recent caption on the Arcadia teaser implies that Arcadia will act similarly and that it will evoke some of her more classic, vintage Americana themes. Needless to say, I agree that BB will likely top her discography—especially in terms of songwriting

I think ending the record with something as dark and confessional like WW would make so much sense. I’ve also noticed that Lana typically ends her records with a summary of her personal commitments (think Get Free), and I think her vowing to never turn into something that burns embodies that. We’ll see!

While I personally adore the singles, I feel they’re not as accessible for a lot of people in the same way that Honeymoon (the album) wasn’t an immediate “easy” listen for fans Blue Banisters might be sonically divisive in her fandom, but I think most will acknowledge how far the quality of her songwriting has come!
