I think it’s possible, but Ben emphasizing two records at the same time (both being *soon*) in his caption makes me feel they could be simultaneous releases…I know it’s wishful thinking, but I want to believe

wait, what if this is why some insiders have been fairly quiet? What if they know a double-release is coming & that they’ve been urged to stay quiet. I mean, this is probably taken a lot more seriously than a single release

I’ll be delusional & give my full thoughts on a Lana conspiracy that other users have echoed as well: What if Blue Banisters is Lana’s version of the unreleased/leaked record, and Ben’s “album()” caption is indicative of a double release? Currently, it is speculated that 6 of the tracks are from past recordings; that’s likely about half of the record. So, what if BB, WW, and TB are “extras” or outtakes from current (or recent-ish) projects she’s working on? With her strong emphasis on telling her own story, an unreleased record that stretches to the present might make sense. Also, if you look at the songwriting on Arcadia, it’s so reminiscent of her early lyricism. Not only that, but Lana also announced two separate albums with different names back to back (RCS and BB). Lana has been pondering the unreleased record since LFL era, at least, and Ben did say there’s something they’ve always wanted to pull off…Just my thoughts

I keep telling myself that maybe we’ll get that production type in LDR9 I can’t help but wonder if maybe Mike Dean veered from his typical dreamy, synth soundscape to make WW fit the record and that his future work with her will be more indicative of what he’s known for. I want it to be true

I completely agree! He stayed quiet about the details of WW for a while, so I feel like him mentioning future work with Lana is a good indication of something coming eventually When that will be is beyond me, but I have my fingers crossed for it lol

If you’re referring to the country record, I think (someone correct me if I’m wrong lol) that’s the same as the Nikki Collab album I’m not entirely sure if it was ever finished, but yeah! I feel like Lana constantly has so many projects going at once, but I’m grateful for it lol

Gabe Simon posted here on Instagram in May (hopefully the link works)! I really hope Lana follows up with Mike Dean; imagining Lana crafting something in the same vein as Venice Bitch but with Mike’s production background? We’d be in for a treat imo

Okay, so.. -Gabe Simon posted about the journey of creating Blue Banisters (the record) -Dean Reid recently posted that he can’t wait for people to see what he and Lana cooked up. -Mike Dean said he’s involved with Lana’s future work and is obviously also involved with WW I can’t help but wonder what this means for LDR9. Is all of this involvement limited to BB, or should we see Mike Dean’s and Dean Reid’s influence on her next record? What does everyone else think? edit: there’s also the possibility of LDR9 being the country record—that slipped my mind..lol

I have a feeling it will be—it was randomly removed from different sites recently, apparently. Also, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we got the leak not too long after Thunder..

This definitely makes sense! There are so many lines in TB that make me wonder what exactly she’s referring to. When she says, “…there was the issue of her,” does she mean her mother? Or a woman involved with Lana’s own lover? Or possibly both considering she’s comparing the relationship with her love interest to her relationship with her father? Lana’s mind is so powerful lol this made me laugh lol

There’s this line in Text Book that’s honestly confused me a bit, and maybe someone here has a good interpretation of it? In TB, she sings, “You touched the detriment most of the friends I knew already had.” What exactly is the detriment in this line? Because the song is largely centered around familial issues, that was my first thought. Is she implying her friends also have familial issues, or is she saying her friends also touched the detriment? The wording confused me a bit. Apologies in advance if this is a silly question; what does everyone else think?

Imagine listening to I Talk To Jesus in the fall when it’s starting to get chilly & sitting in front of a fire…Lana please Malibu would be perfect considering how personal this record is supposed to be. I still wonder what the original version was like before it was reworked

I Can Fly is not on the record according to ATRL. I’m not sure about the rest

My main hesitancy with tracks like Thunder and Living Legend ending up on the record is that her lyricism seems to have improved so much since then Sonically, they’ll both be refreshing changes of pace based off of the triple singles, but I feel like those two could be a lot stronger if reworked. That’s just me though

My unreleased/older track dream list for the record would probably be these: -Pawn Shop Blues -Fine China -I Talk To Jesus having them rerecorded would be cool too edit: Living Legend would fit well too

OMG what if one of the leaked/unreleased/older tracks is Pawn Shop Blues and that’s why she randomly teased the video on Instagram??? it would fit so well, too!
