  1. This is shaping up to be one of my favorite eras ever. Will it be my favorite record? Who knows, but I’m really enjoying the vibe so far
  2. Random but has anyone found anything from Shazam? I know people were tweaking with the URLs or whatever and wasn’t sure if anything was appearing
  3. Imagine if Dealer ends up on Blue Banisters and Mike Dean takes her screams from the recording and does something really textured like the voice-guitar in Living Legend or the closing vocals in Summer Bummer...except with Dean’s heavier, synthy hip hop influence
  4. just realized we have all of the same placements lol my birthday is Feb. 1
  5. Honestly, Virgo placements were the most difficult for me to assign to Lana’s discography, but I’ll try to give you my general reasoning: Virgos are often implicated in astrological signs that are both highly analytical and critical of standards that are not met, and I think that Lana’s commentary on Trump’s rhetoric really embodies that well even if it’s not the stereotypical perfectionism of a Virgo. Also, applying to earth signs in general, Lana’s straightforward and pragmatic attitude really seemed fitting. Hopefully that makes sense lol
  6. He didn’t to my knowledge, but I was more listing them as tracks I anticipate and hope BB will sound like if that makes any sense lol
  7. If Mike Dean really pulls through with the textured, synth-heavy production, I could totally see BB ending up something like these two songs. L$D is a bit more stripped and has a bit of a buildup, but I think it could end up similar
  8. Sun: Pisces are often known for their introspective, intuitive, and idealistic nature. In hope, Lana offers one of her most personal and thought-provoking pieces, delving deep into her own psyche and, in her words, karmic lineage. She really projects the intuitive aspects of the track when she anticipates something she can’t quite specify: “...a new revolution, a loud evolution.” It’s this instinctive, almost mystical sensing of the nature of reality that really solidifies this for me. Moon: Libra moons are largely concerned with the internal congruence and harmony of their relationships; in Without You, Lana desperately expresses this desire to her lover (albeit in an arguably codependent way that isn’t inherent in Libra moons). More than anything, she wants to remove the dissonance created by the wedge between her and her lover. Rising: Whether intentionally or not, Leo’s have a bit of magnetism surrounding them, and having Leo in one’s Rising sign shows how they use this magnetism to interact with the world around them. In Art Deco, Lana conjures a scene of a group of friends comprised of “club queens” who appear, in a typical Leo fashion, to have the spotlight shared among them. I’m glad you like them!!
  9. this is a mood honestly lmao. Oddly enough, I don’t have a ton of listening counts for the ones I inadvertently assigned for my own placements lol
  10. Just a disclaimer: This isn’t super serious, and I personally don’t put weight into astrology. However, I spent a few hours really trying to dissect Lana’s songs and get a general gist of astrological placements and how they coincide with the themes/production of the tracks! If you’d like an explanation for your combo, feel free to ask!

  12. and here’s the vibe I got from the Blue Banisters snippet and title! Definitely a different mood than what I initially expected when she announced RCS lol
  13. This is such a good list!! Joni Mitchell was the first person that came to mind when I first thought of who I’d want her to work with!
  14. This is random, but does anyone have a songwriter or songwriters they would want to see Lana work with (if any?) on Blue Banisters or other future works?
  15. I made this on PicCollage while my boyfriend was getting a root canal (which is why the quality is...questionable lol), but here’s the initial vibe I got when Lana announced RCS lol edit: also, I don’t want a record this short, but I was struggling with the few available fonts on the app & gave up lmao
  16. I was just thinking this!!!! also imagine if Lana meant 2022 unmanifesting it
  17. I’m so confused about about the release date situation (and also whether RCS is BB or not) Mike Dean said it wasn’t ready but agreed that the soon-to-come project was what he produced & never corrected Fantano? Maybe he felt it it was clear that the record wasn’t prepared? I know that Lana (probably) just threw out an inaccurate date, but it’s..weird—especially considering Mike Dean reposted Lana’s announcement if I remember correctly
  18. wait this would be SO cool if Lana does indeed have involvement with her!! I love how intense her work is!
  19. Reading these comments made me realize I don’t know what my expectations are for the record! I know I’d really love deliberate, purposeful lyrics (like in HIADT) and a few songs with heavy atmosphere (similar to the chorus of Cinnamon Girl), but I have no idea what else to anticipate. We’ll see
  20. Idk if anyone’s mentioned this, but can y’all imagine the meltdowns that would occur if Blue Banisters is *the* record of unreleased music & BB (the song) is a COCC outtake
  21. “After reading the reviews regarding my authenticity as an artist, I hope to confront these notions in my next record titled...”
  22. Imagine if we get a studio version of her Daddy Issues performance....TikTok would run that song into the ground but in a good way lol
  23. that is...a relief. I’m curious what lyric she could drop that’s both shocking but also not insensitive/problematic. Blue Banisters seems to be a reflection on unfulfilled love, so maybe she’s revealing some vulnerable detail? Is she going to namedrop someone? The suspense if this is true
  24. I know it’s wishful thinking, but I like to think Polydor wouldn’t have interacted with her post if she hadn’t submitted it, maybe? Where are the stans that always get Ben to interact for some confirmation and clarify
