Can't believe we're getting at least 12 new Lana tracks in less than a month That's the most new material out of any era

Of all the days in the year they chose the only night I can't use my fucked up sleep schedule to stay up until 4-5 AM So yeah I'll tune in tomorrow morning to see what happened

I'm dying to hear the album but I don't want it to leak early. A couple of days before because of vinyl shipping early or whatever is fine but more than 2 weeks is too much

Arcadia was 2 different songs for me when it came out cause I overplayed the My body is a map of LA snippet too much I've been trying not to listen to Candy Necklace for that same reason

With the Crazy For You chorus melody

That's the first snippet right? I hope that's indeed the early demo/voice memo cause I hate it but the second snippet on the other hand... eerie masterpiece I still expect a lot of verses and different melodies in the actual song since it's long and allegedly "complex" in structure I think I said this before but I wouldn't be surprised if it's just 4 or 5 different verses without a recognizable chorus or bridge maybe a little hook before/after each verse.

Pls I didn't even know there was a picture disc like ??? Was it there from the start or is (was I guess) it part of the new merch?

I think only Doja said something publicly (and Ariana too in private based on what Lana said in one of the post qftc videos). Zara Larsson also commented something for some reason but nobody really thinks about her and she wasn't even mentioned

I think she's just doing a festivals tour during late spring and summer (like the 2 confirmed dates) cause if it was a whole world tour so soon they would have announced it already (specially since they would have to fit the European dates before going to SA to then continue the hypothetical US tour in the summer)

I think it might be that both are part of some upcoming soundtrack (on different songs) cause boz said it wasn't a collab or a sample from either part

I don't think she was on the performers section right? Maybe she'll sing a bit during her speech

What is even happening here on this day I know this is the unpopular opinions thread but there's no need to write full essays bashing and comparing Lana's vocals to anyone. I don't care how many octaves her range has or how high she can go, I still think she's a skilled vocalist maybe not 100% technical but she uses so many voices in her songs and they all sound good. For example in A&W she sings in like 4 different ways throughout the song

Why is nobody freaking out about the fact that she may have confirmed a MV for A&W? or was the comment/screenshot fake? She always deletes her stuff so I'm not sure where to even look for it

I get that everyone has different tastes and all that but why are some people acting shocked about the fact that she sings about her family in a retrospective record about her life

The interview was whatever but there's a couple of interesting quotes (that we kinda knew already but were nice to see confirmed)

After seeing Rob's rollout is clear that any lack of additional content like visuals and such is just on Lana's part. They have the same managers and Rob is on a smaller label and we already have an album trailer for his record I miss MVs and trailers and I'm still delulu thinking they are coming closer to the album but if they don't I'll be satisfied enough with the music I guess. Both singles are great and I'm sure the whole record is going to be on the same level so I'm still excited. Less than 30 days btw

It's probably an early version of A&W but oh god that melody I love it. I wish it was a new song from the album

I don't know about the cocoa puff / ko ko bop but she's definitely saying "Jimmy Shimmy" so nobody is truly right

I was also too lazy to check the production credits again so I'm going with vibes only I'll come back in a month after my first listen to see how accurate I was and then some weeks later with the updated ranking this is fun

Wait... this is kinda good but he oversings a bit. At least it doesn't sound karaoke-like and they changed the vibe a bit. Better than I expected

I've been so obsessed with A&W that I haven't been listening to anything else but today I went back to the title track and it sounds better than ever I can't wait for the album

I wonder if the Lana tracks were specifically written for his album or if they are from the Sweet Carolina / BB sessions or even DYK outtakes

It's so funny seeing him release vinyl too I'm excited in a non ironic way. I mean it's iconic cause he is iconic and Lana's dad but I really like piano and instrumental music in general so I'm sure it's going to be a vibe

Since it shares the nautical elements this is DYKTTATUOB sister (father) album And we even get two Lana tracks I'm really curious about this cause if it's just piano why does he have additional producers I guess they will add strings guitar etc... Rob's orchestral serve omg
