Unfortunately, human rights including women's rights and LGBTQ people's rights are constantly used in politics, I'll give you an example: A candidate for president from a fascist party in my country used LGBTQ+ people's rights for his campaign, calling us "not humans, but an ideology" to attract voters. That fucker won (probably unlawfully). As for women's rights, it's no better. A tribunal filled with judges in favour of the aforementioned party has almost completely banned abortions. A few weeks ago, they sent a letter to the Czech embassy, demanding Polish women not get abortions there, because it allegedly interferes with Poland's sovereignty. I'll just end it here, because it's already got offtopic
