I don't think Lana is an icon. I love her as a singer, but she isn't influential enough to really be called an icon.

This is true! I adored all of the dresses she wore on tour. I'm a sucker for the lacey white stuff. She had some really great photo shoots done back then too. I particularly love these:

I LOVE the bridge on Sad Girl.
And I wish Lana had re-released LDRAKALG instead of Born to Die or Paradise. I can listen to it over and over again and LDRAKALG never seems to get old. (Same with Ultraviolence.)

Ride is waaaaaaaay overrated.
And there are some songs where her vocals suck, but her intros make up for it.

The AKA album on whole. I hated it at first, now it's my absolute favorite album.
I didn't really like JFK or Starry Eyed at first, but they grew on me.

As for the if you're by my side, indeed, it does make the most sense but you can't hear the full side.
 
 
It is possible that it could be drink and it's the n sound is muffled by Lana's nasally voice, which makes it sound like jick, which could easily be mistaken for chic. But I'm going with chic-a-cherry cola lime because it sounds pretty lol.

It could just be the way Lana pronounces it in this song. Sometimes when I say drink, it sounds like I'm pronouncing it as chrink but with a very soft ch sound. But then again, I have a lisp so who am I to compare Lana's stunning speech with my shitty, lisped speech?
