  1. In before LDR-IX is actually the last LDR album and she releases next ones under Lizzie Grant
  2. Judah S*** Interlude Watercolor Eyes For Free
  3. Let the Light In

    Madonna

Her Mother’s Day post is so beautiful
  4. I love her Instagram caption: "Don't take the necklace...and if you already did - give it back..." This was one of the most ambiguous songs in the album and now that she did a music video, the lyrics are much more clear. That's one of the reasons music videos add so much to the album and era, it's not just visuals.
  5. She looks like Volturis from Twilight here
  6. I think she does not actually die at the end. I think her character has a happy ending unlike other stars and that murder scene is just a plot twist of just being a movie scene. She says "all these women changed their name, changed their hair like me, they all fell into this different snake holes, so the whole point is how you learn from that and not fall into your own thing.""
  7. The star Lana Del Rey is not killed at the end. She saves herself from the trap and become succesful as we see from the Hollywood Walk of Fame scene which implies that death scene is only from the movie. This is unlike the actresses she's portraying in the music video, who fell into this trap and ended up with tragic deaths. "all these women changed their name, changed their hair like me, they all fell into this different snake holes, so the whole point is how you learn from that and not fall into your own thing.""
  8. I agree but I think there is a parallelism between candy necklaces and diamond necklaces, like how those candies dissolve in your mouth, give you a temporary taste/satisfaction and how there is no necklace left after you consume them.
  9. Not Taylor fans saying it reminds them Wildest Dreams, when that song borrowed the melody from Without You
  10. I loved it so much. Honestly if she kept the video same with this extended version and minimized/erased all the talking, it would elevate whole video to another level. I think the video itself is self-explanatory and she explaining the concept explicitly takes away from it.
  11. I see the concept, we have a star named Lana shooting scenes for the moving pictures. The addition of BTS is adding another layer to the music video. It's like mixing the reality and the fiction. For example, when she takes off the wig in the alley, it feels like she does in the real life after the scene is shot but at the same time it can also be a scene from the thing they are shooting. When she gives off middle finger and says "seriously", kinda gives the feeling of "is she acting?". We see a death scene, making us question whether it's real or not. At the end, we see she's happy and alive and it's all a music video. It's eerie. I don't mind BTS aspect of it but I wish there wasn't so much talking. I also love where candy necklaces and expensive diamond necklaces are falling down to blood. It was so good visually and it made me understand the meaning of the song more.
  12. I think the overall message in the album is within Kintsugi where she says "that's how the light gets in", you have to go through pain to have cracks, and through those cracks light can get in and you can heal. She sings Fingertips right after saying this line, where she talks about how she is reborn from the attempted s* at the ocean floor and became the "goddess" she is today. I personally think the last three songs do not serve well for this darkness to light journey (even though they are uptempo songs, they do not convey this message thematically).
  13. Well Kintsugi and BOZ only mentioned Candy Necklace replacing the other song. They didn’t mention the JB Int. Also, early March leak which we assumed to be songs sent to mastering included JB Interlude but not CN.
  14. If Candy Necklace is a late addition/replacement, was Jon Batiste Interlude still there without CN? It’s strange but not impossible.
  15. I think she might got that “last songs are not favorite” thing from the reaction videos. At least that guy she followed had that opinion, and I believe she watched it.
