  1. we need big vocals. Ride vocals. Nfr vocals. Cola vocals.
  2. I honestly don't care what it's called or even when it's coming out at this point. All I need is for that quavo collab to be an EPIC BOP and to drop relatively soon. That'll tie me over until Lasso or whatever it ends up being called.
  3. Ahh, so glad to hear that! My Chrome is glitching so can't heart your post so
  4. The extended mix of L'amour is such a treat. That song is just the two of them fucking around in the studio. The Pitchfork critic dissed it and said it sounded like something that they cooked up in their bedroom. Like, "and"? That's literally the sound they were going for, which makes it all the more intimate and vibey. Clearly, they can do BIG productions, having won two Academy Awards lmao. Honestly, made me want to email Pitchfork and ask what is happening with their editorial team.
  5. My top five: 1. CHIHIRO 2. BLUE 3. WILDFLOWER 4. LUNCH 5. THE GREATEST I can't believe these 5 cuts are on the same record (kind of like Lana's VB, NFR, Mariner's, The Greatest and Doin' Time combo). And then there's still SKINNY. GOD DAMN, GURL.
  6. Same - I am obsessed with it. The Diner didn't click for me at first, but when I read the lyrics, I realized it's quite a lil' weird gem. Definitely AOTY material, and so happy it's got the best Meta critic score out of her three records (Take that, Pitchfork and Melon!) If she drops the red sequel and it slaps as much, wow. But I don't think that's even possible.
  7. Ajay loved it! She's fucking with it big time. The only proof I need that the album slaps. F
  8. I just came back from a week-long couples retreat with Lana. We had quite a lot of wino, and she opened up, an said Lasso is still there, only a bit more hip-hop infused. "Obviously," she said with a twang, as she sipped her Merlot by the crackling fireplace, "I'm not gon' be jumping on a fuckin' bandwagon." And I said "Hellz, yeah, queen-mother!" Then we high-fived each other and listened to some Chilli Peppers.
  9. Guys nothing is coming in september obvi. let it go. at best, we'll get that quavo song in june-sept
  10. that's so good to hear! Thank you 🙏🏻 I quit smoking more than 10 years ago, so I've got this. The only thing that trips me up each time is relationship issues or some other drama. It's a coping mechanism. But a really rubbish one. So I'm not fallin' for it again. Can't wait to get to the 3 month mark as I know that there's no going back after that.
  11. well done! Trying to quit myself at a 2 year mark. This is encouraging... and yeah, she needs to quit, too. It's super, super addictive and you just have to cut it off
  12. hopefully it's just that, yeah. But september is not seeming likely - that is GUARANTEED. I like that she says it'll be less introspective and less like Ob and BB. We've heard enough about niki jumping in the pool, chuck's baby, charlie's smoking, etc.
  13. What did I tell you guys months ago? I said "she probably has like 3 songs at the moment, and it's really coming out september 2025." I get the sense that she didn't appreciate the quiet / cold reception at the event, and decided it to scrap it then and there. So, I guess the Quavo thing is either a one-off, or a quavo track after all? At least we know not to get excited for Lasso anymore, right?
  14. The poster should really provide a link, otherwise we're not buying it.
  15. Huh? Source? Link to the video / article?
  16. Pitchfork really blew it tho. At one point, the critic complains about Chihiro not having a chorus. Are we in 1938 and do the songs have to have a classic structure? Ridiculous.
  17. I'm over it tbh. Will tune into this thread when there's an actual date attached to the single. This is boring.
  18. Billie doesn't really do features on her albums (none of the three any). Plus, she just dropped her record. If she's collabing, then she'll be the guest star.
  19. You dont drop singles at a time when one of the most anticipated albums drops. plus, billie is her homie, that would be mean (stealing thunder).
  20. you go shazam the shit out of that snippet girl we're all counting on you 💪🏻
  21. Absolutely. It's brilliant.
  22. For me, tracks 7, 8, and 9 are the weakest run and sound like they belong on her earliest records. The Diner sounds like something off her first album or EP, and Bittersuite sounds straight out of Happier than Ever. But the other 7 tracks are fucking golden. And even if the three are weaker, that doesn't make them bad per se. So, I'm going with a strong 8. Definitely will listen more than Happier than Ever or When we all, which I barely ever listen to in full. I feel like most critics love the record, Melon and Pitch aside, so this might not even be as "hidden" as we think.
  23. I don't think Billie exists without Finneas. Just like Radiohead doesn't exit without Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood both. Or Depeche Mode without Dave Gahan and Martin Gore. The brother and sister build their success together, and their sound is half his, half hers. If they were classified as a band named "Binneas," you wouldn't even think to break them apart. So, no, Billie wouldn't sound as good without him. But that's not the point.
  24. that's all fine. The issue is when the reviews just read as nonsense like pitchfork's does. Read it to understand what I'm sayin'. Need a good editor and someone to challenge it. They wait 4 days after the album to post and then it's still shit
