As for charli, thankfully opening for the 1975 was a bullet dodge, she doesnt really associate with people who are really problematic imo (theres caroline but its not as bad as this)

Tbh a lot of it is vague but accordingly-apparently their photographer has been courting young 1975 fans although it doesn’t really specify if they are underage? The messages just show him to be a rude d*ck but nothing criminal as far as I’m concerned. 
 
The allegations against the rest of the team while vague can be assumed to apparently warn “younger women” from the apparent grooming by the band further but apparently no one will come fully forward due to worrying about being prosecuted( one apparently had court proceedings with Matthew?)

He has continued his gross behaviour as recently as 2020 and has been monitoring this situation daily via his girlfriend’s Instagram account) A crew member for The 1975 (these claims were made publicly on Twitter) A former (“former” is questionable) friend of the band (the band and label are also very aware of this person and what they’ve done)” Charli has also worked with the photographer on doing it apparently

So do we think charli declined the 1975 opportunity on a business decision due to the band being accused of being racist, misogynistic and working with sexual abusers or because she’s tired of being an opening act as she said before?

Not really understanding the Ava discourse tbh- charli would never sing something like so am I- the only slight similarity they share is that Ava’s whole career is basically Bebe rexha performing as a gaga tribute act and good ones could of potentially fitted on the fame although it’s more dark coded with some very faint 80s dark wave influence.

It was literally around the time that Marina called her out that marinas entire career started to crumble. Like what has she given us since? Changing her iconic stage name to a basic one, not a single memorable song since album 3, 2 of the worst albums I’ve ever heard, “””poetry”””, cringey social justice lyrics….

yeah, charli was 23 and marina was 30 at the time, and when they did the lonely hearts tour Charli must have been about 20, it must have felt really weird to have your sort of mentor/big sister figure suddenly act like that. especially cause a year before they were calling each other ‘sister’ at the brits.

I get why people are annoyed she’s doing a private account thing but I do hope people don’t go around tweeting everything she posts on there cause I’m reading some of her comments on her latest post and she’s spilling! (not mainly about new music) And she probs won’t be doing that anymore if the stuff she says on there gets widely spread. the way you gotta look at it, is if charli wanted to make it available to everyone she would, she asked people not to share stuff outside of it so i dont get why everyones so bothered. i know a couple people that requested to follow when it was priv and then got auto accepted when it went public
