Because a lot of people just don't want to admit that it's not Charli XCX they like, it's the genre that they're in love with and she just happened to operate in it. HIFN and Pop2 and Vroom Vroom EP existed in that realm of glitch trap hyperpop experimental electronica and THAT'S what they like, and by extension, want to pigeonhole Charli into. It's why Crash, Sucker, TR, and a lot of unreleased/leaks, get utterly panned, binned, and passed over by fans despite being some really solid material.

i always get emotional seeing her perform party 4 u, but is more special in this tour because it's the song that Angels made her release and she still saved a place for her on the setlist - even if it means that the general crowd won't regonize it <3

It cost me less to buy a ticket to Pop 2 NYC (and the afterparty), fly there, stay in an AirBnb, and experience the best concert of my life than it would cost for a floor ticket to the Brat tour in Minneapolis. Sorry girl congrats though
