CRASH gonna be album of the century methinks. Good Ones the only single that wowed me tbh but I just feel like this album overall will be very excellent, based on absolutely nothing. But I am right.

I genuinely think she just made a more polished/less experimental pop album & is trolling with the whole sellout commentary thing like I really don’t think this concept has any kind of depth to it. She’s just having a more traditional pop era.

Everyone is talking about the lyrics for Beg For You being dumb but I like it tbh.
 
it feels like Charli is telling a story about her seeing someone that’s about to leave for who knows how long and she’s at the airport begging them to spend a few more hours with her.
 
honestly it would be such a great concept for a music video that would work perfectly but I know Charli likes doing random videos that have nothing to do with the subject matter of her songs so I’m sure that won’t happen 💀

Good Ones> beg > new shapes. All are great though and not bad in any way.

Plz, she sometimes has a nasal voice-it’s just masked by heaps of auto tune so you lot don’t hear it depending on the vocal tone she uses- her voice sounded fine and hit the notes.

It’s a bop, an extremely short bop but a bop nonetheless, Good Ones really had me worried for this era but New Shapes and now this…I’m excited

2018-2019 People loved then hated 1999, hated that BIOYL was even being released, were divided over Gone cuz the “vocals were mixed weird” constantly complained about how “awful” 2099 was gonna be (before it was even released), never stopped complaining that she doesn’t do enough solo songs(even when the featured artists elevate the song), complained that she does too much PC music type stuff, now they’re complaining that she’s too basic.

beg for you is good, they are both serving vocals and i think it is simple enough for the locals to enjoy. i wish the drop went harder but im not mad. she knows what she is doing this era

im convinced yall will cling on to any song that isn’t officially released cause wanting Sweat out of all songs….

I really like beg for you but what is going on with these lengths. As soon as it gets going, it’s over. Do we think the label is pushing for short lengths??? I could see it being a creative decision with a song or two but it’s frustrating if this is gonna be the whole album. I guess I’m a grandma cause i need something a little longer?
