  1. Going to the El Rey show! Hope she doesn't cancel or gets banned or something.
  2. When I saw the title 24 I immediately thought of Chapter 24 by Pink Floyd, of which the lyrics are taken from an unknown translation of the chinese I Ching's divination instructions. I can somewhat see the lyrics being incorporated into the bridge or interlude within a more conventional Lana song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDKvV1ly4f8

  4. In honor of the new Apple Music, I decided to make a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with it. Tell us about your iTunes library! 5. @ How will you determine which albums make it on the weekend poll?
  6. LIB actually sounds like a proper song...unlike the other. Mess.
  7. @ I second the Kendrick nomination, although I think his most recent effort would be more appropriate for this thread.
  8. 1. Vegas - A - Really dynamic beat, never becomes boring. Interesting lyrics about the duality of Vegas life. 2. Make A Scene - A - Very danceable and gay, love the tongue-in-cheek millennial social commentary and the chaotic breakdown. 3. On The Regular - A - Quirkiness turned up to a ten. It's become somewhat of an anthem for me. 4. Call It Off - A - Madonna wishes she made this. 5. Hot Mess - C - Not a fan of the beat, but the vocals save it. 6. Demon - A - A near perfect pop song, from production to premise to vocals. FAVE Track. 7. In For The Kill - F - Cliche and try-hard, not a fan. LEAST Fave. 8. Youth - C - Survives on vibe alone. 9. Darker - A - An American Idol torch song done right. 10. Head In The Clouds - A - fun, cool, interesting, sums everything up nicely. Overall, I'd give the record an A because of how simply fun it is, regardless of its flawed tracks.
  9. That could work as a video setting. The more going on in the video, the better, I'd say. West Coast got a bit bland just switching between two locales with little variation. Also, any excuse for shirtless men is a plus. Beach is perfect for that.
  10. I would like to participate. As for suggestions, maybe Ratchet by Shamir or Peace Is The Mission by Major Lazer. Both are pretty recent releases, with only a few months on them.
  11. A medley of this and Video Games please.
  12. Betty is bae. One of my fave artists since early 2013. High Society >>>>>>> life itself.
