Maybe not all of these are considered forgotten or hidden, but I rarely or never see them being talked about

Off To The Races both would slay though Off To The Races v.s. Bel Air Edit: my bad i thought i was at the end of the thread

1. Born To Die 2. Blue Banisters 3. Honeymoon 4. AKA 5. Ultraviolence 6. Paradise 7. NFR 8. COCC 9. LFL 10. Sirens Each album is fucking amazing and it pains me to see some albums on the lower end when they’re so beautiful. My NFR and AKA placement is probably controversial but oh well.. this is coming more so from a personal standpoint than a critic standpoint, my ranking would be different coming from an unbiased standpoint

Born to Die - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
mssainttropez replied to Beautiful Loser's topic in Post-Release Threads
I posted a somewhat long story on my Insta regarding Born To Die (with a lot of various references ). I can’t even begin to explain how much love I have for this album, it’s so beautiful and one of my favorite- if not my favorite albums. -
When Crybaby came out I was a HUGE fan. I’m not as big into her now, I still love her and her music obviously (however these last few weeks I’ve been falling back into her music). Here are some of my recommendations that I would listen to in the order I put. I put brief descriptions (mainly my opinion) so you can always just listen to the few that speak to you Toxic- she covered it on The Voice, it’s absolutely beautiful Dollhouse- love the music video and the song obvi Carousel- such a vibe, pretty lyrics Dead to Me- revenge era Bittersweet Tragedy- such a soft yet deep song Soap- go to song when you say something stupid or something you regret saying Pity Party- my sad girl birthday anthem Tag You’re It- this is the song that got me into Mel, underrated perfection Milk and Cookies- I’ve been listening to this song constantly over the last couple weeks, the aesthetic, melody, and lyrics are so beautiful Mrs. Potato Head- such a touching song (and music video) regarding beauty standards Mad Hatter- weird, dystopian wonderland, truly just a great vibe Cake- very much giving reputation energy Strawberry Shortcake- nice beat, it’s about body image and how girls are expected to dress Recess- love the beat, lyrics, and message, it’s the type of song you want to scream despite it being pretty chill Hope this helps in some way and wishing you best on your Melanie journey and let me know what songs you like best !

A&W is becoming more iconic every day. Making me kind of sad because I want a braiding sesh

I so see what you mean. Personally, if a collective group sees how they’re acting (some of it is just annoying, some of it is harmful) I think it’s okay to share your opinions. I have a friend who’s not big into Lana, but sees these things and it bothers her. As long as it’s not like threats, calling out a direct person, stuff like that I think it’s fine.

How much has tickets been in the past and how much did you pay for what seats ? I was never really huge into concerts until recently (oh my god I’ve been missing out, I’ve spent SO much money on concert tickets now).

I agree with everything you said and feel the same way ! Many newer, younger fans have said that Lana was addicted to cocaine. Like I’m sure she has done it, but was never addicted, I think it was just her past boyfriend(s) who were addicted (“he loves me with every beat of his cocaine heart” “bright light, right man / right mixture of cocaine and heroin”). I’ve seen people 12 years old involved with this “fan-base” ranging to early 20’s but it’s mainly teens. I am fairly young in comparison to most people here (I think the most common age range is like late 20’s-early 30’s there was a survey with results a few months ago), I’m in my teens, but I can see the faults in how their acting and it’s just embarrassing (with age can possibly help, however, a lot of them acknowledge their toxic behavior and continue).

I hate seeing people (mostly on tiktok) calling Lana ugly because she’s gained weight along with her age. Something I’ve noticed within that community is they induce self destructive behaviors onto themselves. There’s a video by Mina Le that I thought was insanely interesting that mentions Lana and this specific “fan-base” of her. It touches on bigger aspects though, but it’s definitely relevant to these tiktoks of Lana.

Here’s what I just posted on a similar thread The three main Lana tiktok stans are: 1. Ultraviolence- it’s their whole personality and they tend to romanticize harmful things such as eds, drugs, etc. These are the femcels and some coquettes. 2. NFR- “NFR is the best album created, all of her other albums are nothing compare to it” 3. Aka- Either Lizzy is my whole personality (coquettes and femcels) or Lizzy is such a problematic era I hate her unreleased getting trendy on tiktok. Like yes, I am in fact a gatekeeper careless. Especially when people say “Lana is my favorite singer” and they only listen to her popular songs such as Brooklyn Baby, Say Yes To Heaven, Young And Beautiful, etc. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t need to know her whole discography to consider yourself a fan, but you aren’t truly a fan if you ONLY listen to her mainstream songs. I also hate peoples posting stuff regarding Lana just for the aesthetic of it.
