Adele, Wow. Comes out from limbo sort of, and slays all. I cannot believe the success of Hello. She sounds amazing. Excellent. The best. (I have not seen the video in full yet.) The views as of today are over a qaurter billion already, and as posters above already posted, the sales have shattered records world wild. Wow. Good job Adele.

interesting what west coast said about listening repeatedly to new albums when they come out. Thats so true. Some albums have been on replay every day/night for me for weeks/months even, and others fizzle out fast. Even though i think some of my fav Lana songs are on HM, i also was playing other artists stuff after the first few listens. this is (for me) a huge indicator if im not salivating and on repeat every day. i think btd fame definately boosted attention and sales for uv, just as it may to a much lesser degree, helped hm sales. all 3 of these are so different from one another, hard to say what fans of one album style think moving frwd. its almost like these 3 albums are all for 3 different fans.. guess some of us are exceptions as we genuinely like all the styles, but I see the fanbase shrinking a hell of alot, whether we want to wishful think or not. thats just life.

I ran into a guy from the latino music scene the other day, and he mentioned how huge the fan bases can get for various artists popular in South America and places, while many North American, Europe and rest of the world have no clue whom the artist even is.. big markets in those places. Lots of people.

maybe i'm dreaming, but 380K WW sales is still quiet good for me.? I would not have expected it to be like BTD sales, or even UV, being the type of album it is, but these numbers seem still quite good.. idk..

Relax everyone, Vertigo has a right to voice his opinions too, even if they are a little harsh at times. he/she was (maybe still is), a passionate fan of Lana's music and has been severely dissapointed. Yes, some of the best albums/music to fans, are sometimes the least commercial. Music is really such a Subjective thing. (opinions). Charts, sales and commercial success etc, are very Objective. (factual). I guess the only person effected truly is the artist, while fans can all enjoy the music irregardless. (as long as it keeps coming.)

I think when all the excitement is around for the release of an album, everyone is so hyped for it.. then after the release, everyone has opinions, then after awhile, with a few more weeks/months sliding away, it just all gets very quiet. then all we have are our thoughts and not much else.. i'm still listening to HM, but usually skip half the songs on the album now depending on mood.

not to be misconstrued as negative in any way, or overly positive either.. LMFAO.. but at this time i highly doubt Lizzy gives a rats ass (cares less), about any lame ass 3rd rate award. (And i'm in her corner..lol) i dont need to her to win any of these. Shes fine the way she is for me..

there are tons of stuff now, but the youtube vevo ones are best qaulity so far. altho there are a few real good ones from fans too.. best with headphones and you really get the amazing sound of the music.. like being there.. but not in the front with the zillions of screaming young honeys..

is it just me? or has this forum becoming very boring lately.. no good stuff to discuss, irrelavant, unintelligent rant posters, but even then, still losing alot of its steam IMHO.. not sure how much longer this site will be up TBH.. anyway, just expressing my boredom with this.. anyone else feel this way? i see its getting ALOT quieter as well.. kiddies are growing up a little and moving on it seems..
