  1. Well, Lana herself (and notable leakers whatever we call it here) said that Born to Die- was just a collection of compositions/songs that she had made without an intention to place it on a certain record. Songs for fun/labels at that time… radio was the only one which had the intention to be placed on a record- born to die- some were saying
  2. I’d love to believe this song to be an originally Lizzy song circa 2007 that was rerecorded in 2013-2014
  3. I’d also dare to say this is the best of Lana’s vocals. She’s really improved very much since Chem
  4. No honeymoon song or chem but that’s okay because she performs and look very beautifully tonight. Forever Serene Queen love the traps and guitars during the latter half of white mustang
  5. ‘Love’ is quite my favorite Lana video but how the fuck have I never noticed that photo on the drums…
  6. Static noise throughout Terrence Loves You and a film reel throughout Honeymoon’s title track… so much details on the songs from Honeymoon…
  7. now its been years since I left New York and i got a kid and two cats in the yard the California sun and the movie stars and I watch the skies getting light as I write as I think about those years and I whisper in your ear- i’m always going to be right here no one is going anywhere what a woman and a songwriter
  8. How do you even block people here Jesus
  9. Definitely not unpopular comment but- Discoursing whether Lana has a better sound back then or now is was one thing/debatable and all leads back to taste but saying her writing now is morosely bad just sounds wild/crazy to me… her writing has definitely nourished since honeymoon i’d say. Paradise was a start of something but the writing on ultra… lovely gritty record though. Dare i’d say aka has better writing… Love them all btw.
  10. Imagine if each of the separate looks are for another ocean blvd songs. One look for one song. Love Lanz for dropping a music video on a Wednesday night.

  12. Am I the only person who thinks this song is the sister to Heroin? So much to talk about…
  13. But they’re right, are they not? I do hear reminiscences of all the aforementioned songs in the particular composition watercolor eyes
  14. Oh wow…? What a coincide… thank you for the info love, going to read it =) these spectrums of Lanaboards has always been the most interesting..
  15. Reminds me of The Source Family/Father Yod’s cult: a charismatic leader founds a commune in LA in the early 70s based on natural food, spiritual practices and psychedelic rock. Seems like the concept younger Lana herself would subscribe to. The history of these two cults- it all goes back to Ultraviolence and Freak’s music video… edit: after reading two articles about Morningland, I’m surprised to see a woman having a major control/handson w a occult community
  16. Nobody seems to give this song enough affection or attention… such a cute teen love story
  17. Summertime was a professional ripoff from a Janis’s version karaoke… listen to Janis’s version
  18. The cicadas in the sunset are your guide The mystic path in eight stages: 1. Awakening 2. Purification 3. Illumination 4. Voices and visions 5. Contemplation and introversion 6. Ecstasy and rapture 7. The Dark Night of the Soul 8. Union *If i’m not mistaken Conquered me to think a lot of transcendetalism. Spiritualism is within Self/Soul to apprehend divinity through nature’s merit. For its Creation’s purity passed on from Self/Soul- one must seek its absolute good from it. Therein the truth lies. Alabama in the springtime is heavenly To always wish and to manifest the heavenly into the earthly- for a new life, the New Age or “a rosebud”.

  20. Man, have always thought Terrence to be a fictionalized lover honestly or a name to cover someone real… I imagine it something like Jim but more tragic and mystical…
  21. Who is Terrence really? This weakens the theory that Terrence in TLY is Terry Burns- Bowie’s brother… have always never believed that/just a coincidence Jesus - Ave Maria - Cruel World - Terrence Loves You
