My Roman Empire is the fact that my sister was STACKED with old Taylor merch because she’s been a fan since fearless (she converted me into a swiftie during speak now) and the things I would do to even just hold that merch today is criminal. What’s really sad is that she threw it all out in highschool be issue she was bullied for going to the rep tour and liking Taylor now all those girls are ‘big fans’
 
luckily she still has 2 bottles of wonderstruck (put together would make one full one), incredible things lotion and body scrub, whatever the red wonderstruck is bath gel and the green rep ring. It makes me so sad tho because her Taylor merch was my childhood the one that I mostly remember was this pen (maybe a lightup one from the red tour idk) and it had like a rainbow lanyard Istg I’m gonna go insane and buy all this merch back

I woke up at 1:58am for the 2am drop just for them to release it 5 minutes earlier so everything sold out 😍 then right when I went to sleep they got put on the Australian store and sold out in 5 minutes. It’s okay tho because the next stop should be a restock of old items like the cardigans. Tonight we pray for Christmas tree farm vinyl or snowglobes

also I really don’t fuck with this holiday collection. Like the cowboy like me jacket ate down but why does every merch team ruin everything by making the back ugly?? Also the ornaments were lousy besides the chair and throne like last year was just too good.

Seeing her live tonight  Waited a year and a half for this, I can’t believe it’s gonna be over in like, 12 hours  I’m gonna try to enjoy it as much as I can and try not to record too much  I can’t wait to scream the lyrics of ATW with 50000 people 

FOR REAL! i also saw her opening the eras tour and i liked the music so much better live. i checked back in on the secret of us after my show and was a little disappointed it didn't sound as great as it did live 

Gracie was such a delight opening for Taylor at my Eras show. She's really charismatic and so polite, I couldn't help but be drawn to her. I only knew half of the songs on her setlist, but she performed them amazingly, ILYIS was such a fun one. Close To You was a blast too. She really has potential imo, I hope she gets her big moment some day. I need to check out her new album! For some reason she sounds way better live than in the studio, less cursive singing. She really needs to let that cursive accent GO.

Mm, I don't think I'll go and watch it in cinemas though. I bet it's very cute and a great film but I don't wanna sit alone in a salon with like 15 year olds around me lol.
For the past year, I'm lowkey surprised what a huge crowd she's gotten at her shows. I don't mean she's not talented or bad, not at all! I just didn't know she was so popular because the show I went to at the beginning of the year was in a quite small venue, not more than 300-400 people could fit, I think. It's very fun to see her with bigger audiences.
Anyway, since it's Christmas soon, Laufey's dropped another single. I haven't listened to it yet, I'll do it when it's getting closer to/when it is December. It's still a bit too early for me to dive into all that Christmas stuff, haha.
The single is "Santa Baby" and comes with a music video as well! :3
 
And if that wasn't enough, she has a bunch of Christmas-y merch on her website. I feel like she's slowly becoming Taylor Swift lol, she definitely has a role model to follow when it comes to marketing, creating a fanbase, and selling music and merch. I'm not really interested in all that stuff howeverrrr I am interested in this cute little box with Christmas singles! I've tried to look if it's available anywhere else than her webshop but it seems to be exclusive. A bummer, because it's very cute and my local record store only sells the singles individually and not with this cute collector's box. The description says it'll be useful for future single released in the following years... ahhh I want it!

normally i wouldn’t unfriend people based on their vote but this time around it’s very different. this is not just a difference in opinion or political views, this is about the want for basic human rights and a push forward to a more mutual future. either they didn’t do their research or they willingly made the decision they did by saying fuck women’s rights and LGBTQ and minority rights and voting for trump. there is a difference between a republican  and a trump supporter. these people failed this country but you know, what do you expect at this point.
