We speculated how would she premiere the song  for two months ( apple music, vevo, radio and so on) but in the end she just posted a video she edited on her macbook on her personal yt     But it's a good reminder that Lana isn't playing the popstar card anymore and we shouldn't expect her to follow any "rules" we are used to on music industry, girl is doing her own way.

I mean... If slow is boring to some, maybe they should just not stick so close to Lana's music for now. Her voice sounds so beautiful... How is that possibly boring? If Lana singing beautifully is boring to someone, what's the point really? Sigh.

I posted a status about this, but the vocal layering and harmonies in Honeymoon are so hypnotizing. It reminds me of the style of "Bentley" a bit, and I love that one. I imagine this is what Bentley would sound like if it was produced. The whole sound of the track is so cinematically gorgeous. Someone said it sounded a little soundtrack-like, which I can agree with. I could definitely imagine hearing the instrumental in a dramatic Hitchcock film.. The last minute is so jazzy, which I always love. Starting with "dreaming away your life" and just her humming afterwards.. Love love love. Jazzy Lana is one of my favourite sides. I'm really looking forward to the album after hearing this one. Great work Lana, love u lots xx

For the moment, the verses are a snooze, for me .... 
The chorus is what she shared with us, so no surprises, there, it's pretty. 
The bridge is beautiful.
The instrumental is everything 
 
It's like a mix of :
 
- Ultraviolence (album) : the verses 
- Born to Die (album) for the bridge (the best part  )
- and Wait for Life's scat ...
 
The shots left me a bit disappointed as well, I was hoping to see her in some sort of exotic environment, but to see the street right on the side is a bit .. Of course, she talks about boulevards and what not so who am I ...

I mean it won't actually be a cover record. They're new songs. They're just not ones she wrote with the intention of keeping for herself or were written in a style that she wouldn't consider her own (Chandelier & Elastic Heart were examples of this).
