Lana Del Rey and Quavo “Tough” - OUT NOW!
shadesofblue replied to rocknrollgroupie's topic in New Releases
istg i wish they stopped saying "soon" and give a general estimate like next/this month? this summer? x amount of weeks? i was initially thinking it could be a quavo song is bc hes the one making insta posts. but also, lana isn't known to promote her own music very often so.. i'm starting to think it's either a lana lasso single ft quavo or a lana and quavo song. ben did post that story the other day that said they were a new band but idk if he was just saying that just bc of the tough a collab. there was that other song fly away registered on ASCAP. idk if it's still happening, but maybe they're releasing a couple songs? i know songs aren't always registered under the same name, but it did include lana and quavo but also lenny kravitz, so it has to be either a fly away cover or some sort of sample. unless they just scrapped it -
I’m not as familiar with a lot of rock/punk as I’d like tbh. I’ve always loved rock but I mostly just listen to random songs rather than bands. i like older rock like the rolling stones and fleetwood mac and some older metal like metallica and black sabbath. I love 90s rock but I also still listen to a lot of my middle school emo music like pierce the veil, three days grace, panic at the disco, my chemical romance lol I’m super basic but i'd say my fav bands would prob be nirvana, muse, the smashing pumpkins and paramore. if anyone wants to give me some recs feel free to share this is my reminder to branch out and listen to new music

didnt she say something at the very end of the boston show about wanting to makeup for that show? i couldn't really hear it through the livestreams but watch her makeup show be in 2030 or somewhere random like Wyoming has she ever actually made up for a postponed canceled show bc i feel like everytime that happens she says she will and then never does

it blows my mind when venues don't take better precautions during heat waves. giving out water is the least they could do in that situation, idk if its a money thing or what. you would think giving away some water bottles would ultimately be better than being responsible for having tons of people get seriously ill or worse. I'm glad fenway they let people bring water bottles but idk why venues and fests still to this day are so strict with water. it can be extremely dangerous for anyone, even deadly. there's tons of people with medical issues that have to keep hydrated more it's actually ridiculous. i'm so sorry yall had to go through that bullshit. i'd expect a stadium like fenway to be a little more prepared for situations like that, but hopefully they learned their lesson. -
i think as lana fans, it's important to remember how much lana changes her mind. she's been like this as long as i can remember, and there's nothing wrong with that. i've always had the mindset as a fan especially of hers to hope for the best but don't hold expectations. that's one of the reasons i didn't join LB until this past year, i love to speculate what she'll do next, but if you have set expectations with her, you might be disappointed when she does the complete opposite. all that being said, it's completely possible for her to add some dates between august or possibly after like she did last year! but i don't think we should have it set in our minds. she's said before she doesn't want to do a stadium tour (and even though she said that she could totally drop a stadium tour lineup tomorrow) but you literally never know with her. insiders are not always reliable, there's a few known ones that are pretty reliable but when it's these random people you have to take it with a grain of salt. even with reliable insiders, she changes her mind all the time so it could end up being wrong. i do think it's probably likely she'll perform in mexico because she had to cancel at least one of the shows there last year i believe

shadesofblue replied to rocknrollgroupie's topic in New Releases
seems like this past year hes had at least 1 single per month. may he had 3 and this month hes had 2.. so maybe next month/few weeks? lets hope -
i fear this did not age well i hope last night didn't discourage her from doing more stadium shows in the future. i know shes not usually a fan of them so i get it

Pretty sure I’ve heard fights happening at most shows this past year or so I’m sure the whole situation did not help though. really sad, I wish those people in the fan base would chill sometimes. I’ve heard so many bad stories over the years and it’s upsetting to know some fans treat others this horribly. like why are yall fighting you’re about to see lana del rey in the flesh perform live in front of you!! Good to see not everyone had a bad time but im so sorry to everyone who didnt have the best experience -
Waaaait okay that makes the most sense. I can sorta hear the him but I’m thinking it’s more you instead “past present future I see in you” is what I hear
-
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTN8P9mnp/ she’s so julia❤️
-
i've been trying to slow down the clip and this is what i think i hear too. at least the "future that i see in you" part
-
after the past present future part it kinda sounds like shes saying "they said it's always been you" or "they say its only been you" something along those lines. i agree the second half seems like a diff language i hope we hear more soon!!
-
omg this is so sad but raw and honest.. i love it. ive had somewhat similar situations in the past and its hitting me this is girlhood
