  1. I just read the news that she gave birth! So happy for her and Robert!
  2. I bet they have a song together prosuces by Jack that's unreleased. Like the Kevin Abstract unreleased collab.
  3. Love you all but it's a sign that we're in a never ending drought when we're starting to see ChatGPT generated lyrics here
  4. I think that from September 2015 to March 2016, the songs recorded for the album were pretty much in the demo/unfinished stage, I think since April-July 2016 2016 things took bigger turn where she started finalizing some of the songs and after some time touring in July-August 2016 she started having more new ideas since the world "politically" started becoming heated and her uncle died. Then in Autumn 2016 she started recording some of the new stuff but then Trump became president the new ideas came and came and then in Spring 2017 she started dating G-Eazy which resulted more ideas lol. So the album is basically a pile of ideas and thoughts she went through post-Honeymoon.
  5. It's just a nickname fans chose that lost its meaning Love was made in April 2016 if I'm not wrong, depends how do you count months as early or mid year
  6. From a French magazine in 2017: "Two of the songs from the new album were composed while we were finalizing the previous one, I can't stop working, I love being in the studio, I feel good there."
  7. I also read an interview from 2017 where she said that she started recording or writing 2 songs from LFL before releasing Honeymoon album or something. We know that she started recording LFL title track before Honeymoon's release then what could be the other song? Love? Heroin?
  8. Lust For Life era had her best merch. It looked classy and didn't look too "merch-y" or it didn't look like something which screamed merch. I loved the red sweater, white windbreaker, visor cap and the boat T-shirt. Didn't LFL era had the first original golden coke necklace and the golden gas lighter thingy as well? Some merch pieces of NFR merch looked cool as well but I think that some of the surf shop merch started looking too amateur or "H&M". COTCC merch was meh and other merch ever since were just shit and amateur.
  9. Perhaps, before scrapping TNBAR and Yosemite, the album had 18 tracks (including TNBAR, Yosemite, Roses Bloom but minus Change). Maybe more songs were switched but known fact is that Change was the very last song recorded for the album.
  10. Can we do something with work ID and ISWC? I mean there is a reason why each one is a unique one with different numbers. We can definitely find out the date of registration but do numbers like these reveal the details behind the recording process?
  11. Oh of course, help why was I hoping for something else 😭
  12. Also yesterday, I was digging in ASCAP APRA AMCOS lists (it's basically list where American songwriters' songs are registered) where they had registered every single released Lana song (including covers, collabs, soundtrack songs, stand-alone songs and even Violet audio poems), also some of her unreleased songs (includimg the notorious Wild One, Morricone and Piano Theme we found out from that website years ago). I knew every songs on the list registered, some of the songs appeared there twice or thrice with their alternative titles, but there was this "Lana Film" registered where Lana and Jack Antonoff are also registered as composers. What does that suppose to mean? What is it? What have we missed? The list: https://www.apraamcos.com.au/works-search?works=true&title=&writer=Grant&performer=Lana
  13. Yesterday, I made a little "discovery", while reading some of her old interviews from magazines. I wanted to post and ask about that yesterday but LanaBoards was unfortunately down. Anyway, this is from Nylon Magazine's November 2013 issue, where there was an interview about Lana where she was talking about her Born To Die/Paradise eras, tour experiences, Tropico movie, recording her next album (what today we know as Ultraviolence), friend Jamie King and also her relationship with Barrie. In that Barrie part, there was also this description: "The couple have been recording some '70s-style rock with producer Jonathan Wilson in Silver Lake for fun, but Del Rey characterizes her next release as a work-in-progress, done on her own terms and timetable." The "next release as a work-in-progress..." part is obviously about Ultraviolence, but how did people not notice that information about that Barrie "70s-style rock" thing! As we can remember, in December 2023, Barrie said in a livestream that he had recorded a whole album with Lana but I didn't know that they were working with Jonathan Wilson then. Lana later linked up with Jonathan in 2016 and what's more interesting, is that Lana-Barrie-Jonathan were recording that album (presumably - album) in Silver Lake! In know that's a place in California but as we all know, Lana has an unreleased song from Lust For Life era called "Silverlake". I wonder what songs Jonathan Wilson did produce for them, the only song he has with Lana is "Living With Myself" but she's only singing background vocals there. I don't think he produced Unidentified Flying Bill because it was recorded in a different studio - NightBird Studios - which does not locate in Silver Lake. I need to know people's thoughts. @lanaismamom Did you know about this earlier or did everybody know this and I am just late to the club ? Anyway, I'm still very intrigued about this album...
  14. So is it happening or no? Maybe they meant that the announcememt supposed to be later? Or what?
  15. Lana Del Rey about the "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" nickname in an interview for Dazed in 2011: "I didn’t come up with that! My managers were struggling to describe my music to labels and kept saying, 'What genre is it? What style?' I called it Hollywood Sadcore. But my manager said, 'She's like a gangsta Nancy Sinatra!' And as soon as it flew out of his mouth, it fucking stuck like glue. I spend eight fucking years writing gorgeous songs and someone in a meeting says 'gangsta Nancy Sinatra' and that's that. It's brutal. I know two of Nancy's songs but she's not someone I've ever really listened to. I know everything about Frank, of course, because he's the real singer. It just goes to show how fucking stupid people can be sometimes." I suggest reading that interview, it's really interesting: https://www.dazeddigital.com/music/article/11702/1/lana-del-rey-bad-girl-blues
  16. Time really fucking flies! Happy 1st Anniversary to dear and THE amazing album Did You know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd!!!!! One of the greats for sure, a very complex, huge and mountain moving album!
  17. Omg I love it as well, it's so cute! This shirt alone is already better than her new merch which was released yesterday!!!!!

    Instagram Updates

Why did I fucking think this was a Billie Eilish edit, I forgot that Camila had dyed her hair
  19. I'm not a royal fan but I feel so sorry for her and her family, especially the children as well. She's still at young age and no one deserves that. Fuck cancer. I hope that the media leaves her alone. Fuck media.
  20. Her merch is missing those 2015 galaxy pattern hoodies and backpacks you saw every middle schooler wearing
  21. The blue swan shirt had the greatest chance to quote "it will be our swan song" or just "Swan Song" instead of Born To Die for the millionth time I don't know what to think about the merch since I have never really been a fan of her merch (except for the LFL era merch). I love the bow though, it's really cute! The merch in general is kind of cute maybe but it's too H&M or Shein for me
