Butterfly song has grown so much in me. Like I sometimes sing the chorus on my own. It's really catchy. To be honest, I really like the production on Butterfly. It sounds bubbly and dreamy. Kind of a softer, dreamier version of 2000s European songs. I think that M6 is going to be her most pop album and catchiest album since Electra Heart

I think they didn't mean soulless in a way that it's not like energetic but I think they meant soulless in a way that it's lacks the Marina element, that they think it could've done by any other artist. That's how I interpreted it. Personally, I'm glad she's not recycling her old sound again

I honestly don't know what to think about the snippets so far (still hesistant on Cupid's Girl but it seems catchy so far) because I'm not really feeling all of them (because they don't seem to be my kind of taste in music) except for Sweet And Sour but that's okay because I'm excited for the album nonetheless. The new snippet seems to be cool production wise. Like I have never heard a song similar to it, it has like a running horse effects in the background. Although, her vocals are strong in this but when she went higher I thought the vocals were going to be high pitched again and then I thought she was going to yodel 😭 I don't see any similarities to The Family Jewels, Electra Heart nor Froot in those snippets at all though. And it's okay because she's trying a new style which is different from all of these. Recycling the same sound all over again would've been boring.

I listened to the I Love You snippet again and honestly, I don't really understand the hype Like yeah, I love the strings as well but I don't like the part which comes before the strings, it has these weird sped-up vocals effects which reminds me of the voice when people inhale helium. Even the sped-up part in Butterfly sounds better than that part.

she worked with like 5 different songwriters for Love + Fear though and imo the best tracks were the solo written ones. (and also for example Marina revealed that the "messing up towels" lyric from No More Suckers was written by a co-writer that kinda says everything). I think the best co-writers she has collaborated with are Rick Nowels, Greg Kurstin and Liam Howe.

IF, and it's a one big if, those couple singles are going to be released then they will drop together and they will be probably released on a random Wednesday. The last scenario is definitely likely though.
