The way i view it, if people have a place to learn about these previous eras then maybe they’d be less likely to go looking for this music in secret. Another issue brought by the hush hush approach is that now some people are finding old white silas songs and because they dont know what the line between White Silas songs and Ethel Cain songs is, they reupload these tracks on soundcloud and youtube under the name Ethel Cain

Tried making a version of preachers daughter thats closer to the original 17 track version with the 2 and a half hour runtime version probably off because we don’t know which four songs she cut but whatever Ik lead poisoning isn’t confirmed to be about willoughby but i really like it and bambi’s too short

I dont mind waiting a bit longer for the b-sides if it means we get amber waves and punish They just seem so gorgeous and lush i would luv a project full of 6+ min songs that have breathy vocals and soft instrumentals
