Everybody says nice things about her hair. I love her hair most of the time but now it seems off to me I don't like it. Everything feels so cheap: the dress, the hair ..as I said above this I'm a humble singer thing doesn't fit with her music, with her image, I don't understand her but that's her thing
 
I saw her with her mother in some candids and Pat was dressed 2 classes above her and looked more confident

i loved the dress it was so lana 

she looked so happy, healthy and really good!.......except for the dress. her face & hair make her look really sophisticated and mature but the dress is kinda mermaid-style and just doesn't really suit her upper body appearance. perhaps if she'd gone for a darker colour it would have suited her better, idk.
 
oh well, she still looks absolutely stunning!!

She's a beauty, but:
1. She's not pregnant...
2. She needs to fire Johnny Blueyes asap (her appearance at the Globes was subpar, to put it mildly)
3. She needs to let go this "I wore cheap looking clothes and shoes so that people will stop saying that I came from money” (they won't)
4. Let that Priscilla Presley impersonator shtick go (I love it but enough it's enough)
 
Now I'm sure that she needs an image refreshment overhaul for the new era because the whole 60-70's shtick gets tired. Lana is slowly getting uncool and what is baffling is that it seems that she is working hard on that.

That colour is pretty but so hard to pull off, her figure is so different between the 3rd and 4th pics, just from the angle/pose change. 

Love the dress, and her makeup is pristine. Whoever dares put her on the worst dressed list can go to hell

At this point I really wonder what she means with "noir" and "jazz-inspired", it could be anything really. Listening to UV gave me the sense that when she says "inspired by jazz" it's more about a certain mood and colour and not so much actual jazz music.

Cool it? I don't see what's wrong with saying what we want, this is a discussion forum so obviously we're going to discuss what we want for the album etc. It's like we're saying if she doesn't do a, b or c where gonna stop being a fan. No one is even being demanding, we're just discussing what things we would like her to do on her next record / visuals.
 
I wish people would stop being over protective over Lana, like shes some innocent sensitive girl. She's famous and in the public eye, people are going to have opinions on her whether she likes them or not. People are allowed to give criticism, no one is being nasty towards her. People are also going to have an opinion of what they want for the next era, nothing wrong with that either.
 
                             

I'm able to find fun, entertainment and amusement everywhere, even here. Take the absolute nonsense from this thread for example, 99% of the posts aren't  based in any reasonable or truthful information. One says "I want this" the other says "I want that" and comes another poster to complain about the ones who want something that obviously wont happen, and says another "I want this and that and you shouldn't want this". All that while the only thing out is a freaking title.

Another amusement is people going all emo because someone criticized Lana's dress. I wonder how these people can operate in RL being so damn whinny.

UVs lyrics aren't bad I just thought they were repetitive with her usual theme. She went further into themes she already worked before considering her official work and unreleased catalogue. My concern is for the third record she sticks to this imagery before giving her time to decide what to do next. But I have to agree with you that she delivered a really good work with Paradise which is definitely better than BTD

The lyrics in Uv are some of her best. I don't really know what you mean, she can't have started the Paradise EP more than a few months after BTD was released and that record is phenomonal (arguable better than BTD)

First the lyrics on UV are so much better than the lyrics on BTD... And maybe she just feels very inspired right now? I'm sure she wouldn't release something if she wasn't proud of it! I trust her!

Who knows, she may include some old songs. Of course, Old Money had been in the works for years, tracking all the way back to Methamphetamines. And didn't she say in an article that Money, Power, Glory was really old as well? So, even though she is writing new songs, she may throw in a few old ones that she's been trying to finalize for awhile. I'm always excited to see what she has in store.

yeah thats true, some short records are really great, i can think of a few, too. and some of Lana's songs on Ultraviolence were a bit ehhh, Florida Kilos despite being an amazing track didnt match the album at all, Guns and Roses was kind of a pointless addition imo its kind of bland compared to the rest of the songs, etc. other than that the album is so cohesive and beautiful, but tbh.. i just really wanna see heaps of tracks from lana on this new album, even if like 5 of them are like guns and roses to me, idk.. i just need more music hahahaha i crave it

I'm so excited for this new album.. I am still praying she includes Kill Kill on it, and i'd love a song that sounds similar to Put Me In A Movie... that 'soft' sadness of that song is so beautiful.. Do you think we'll get more or less tracks than Ultraviolence? Ultraviolence gave us 11 + bonus 3 + Flipside + Is This Happiness + West Coast radio mix (not that i really count that), I hope we get more with Honeymoon, although it's unlikely. I just love having lots of music to hear by Lana.
