This reminds me of when Blue Velvet was premiered via H&M before being placed as a track on Paradise.

Blue Velvet was just an H&M promo track but girl liked it quite a lot so she put it on Paradise I believe ??? Idk I remember she said that but I'm not very reliable

I actually think the song sounds really good, but releasing a track produced by Dan Heath as a lead single would be the same as serving a piece of toast as a main dish.

It's an alright song; similar style to Young and Beautiful. I just hope that her latest album reverts more towards her Paradise sound.

I would not be mad at all if this was on the album, her voice is just so beautiful, so charming. the infliction, the melody. it's sublime

It DEFINITELY wasnt in the film when i watched it, but i'm in Australia so maybe it's different here. i have absolutely no idea. maybe there's a newer copy being circulated around with the song for it's release in america. i have absolutely no idea how this stuff works but nope, no song in aus?

I'm surprised at all this backlash. First of all, we have one minute of a song and are already saying it's lame? We don't know how these lyrics fit in with the rest of the song. I LOVE this song so far; can't wait to hear the whole thing. As for Big Eyes and I Can Fly, man, those were gorgeous. I agree, the lyrics weren't the best, but they are amazing songs (to me).  This is soothing, magical, and expressive - I love it. She never disappoints. 

She definitely makes a k sound - I think you're right. And it makes a lot more sense! Also, I don't think it's "stay where we're going," but "say where we're going."

Sometimes just typing lyrics out differently makes a big difference. (And the adjustment to awake/away and stay/say.) I'm also guessing that "don't be that way" is following a lyric that the trailer cut out. Which would make it look like this:

I really dont know of any way i could possibly have missed the song playing during the movie, I literally went to see it just to listen to the song LMAOO- the movie was absolutely incredible though- and i'm almost certain it didnt play, i definitely didnt hear it, but what people are saying is making me doubt myself a lotttt right now, but i still am sure i didnt hear the song play throughout the movie at all, but this is in Australian cinemas, perhaps it's a completely different thing here together.
The movie's out now in America, right? So hopefully we get some news

2. they're completely different to one another, like cheese and chalk
3. there is a board like this for marina called marinaboards.com

the lyrics from the snippet sound good but if dan heath fucks up the production like he did with big eyes (mexican trumpets... im still cringing), i'll be so mad. based on the snippet it sounds like this song has a huge chance of it absolutely slaying
