The best being that it's a completely different song because BHIH should be a one-off thing

Ooh this looks nice! If the Pure Heroine artwork is real (I genuinely don't think it is but it doesn't really matter to me) then I'll want to use an embellished version like this Yay! Knew Tennis Court would do it for you, and luckily that song seems to reflect more on what her album will sound like based on live performances. From what I can tell it'll be pretty mature with a fair share of serious content. She hasn't had any technical leaks so far. The covers were available on the internet and Piece of Mind is an uncredited feature on a friend's band's album, openly available on bandcamp (I got the original file rather than a rip for my masterzip for the sake of providing the very best). We know she's been making recording attempts since she was 12 but nothing has surfaced. So I tested what The Love Club EP will sound like without Royals because that's how I'll have to get used to listening to it and it's weeeeird. Tennis Court single is easier because I can just make Swingin' Party a stand-alone single and use @@Bad Kid's gr888888 SP artwork. I'm obviously obsessed and would be happy to help if you need assistance

Lana Del Rey Officially Announces TROPICO, "Coming to a City Near You"
Sitar replied to Sitar's topic in New Releases
I'm gonna print out this picture and tape it onto a Catholic prayer candle. (I've done the same with a picture of Dolly Parton tbh) -
hew cares Although the crazy fan inside of me thinks it could be another Die Young vs. Diamonds--DY was initially more successful but Diamonds got a smash later on. However, charts aren't really part of the experience for me. I love Applause a lot and she's giving me loads to be excited for with the VMAs, new music at iTunes fest, and ARTPOP soon.

Shame me As for non-music collections I have two shirts and Under the Radar but otherwise almost certainly missed the boat on most cool things like Stay Away/Emelline/Francheskaar.

My True Romance vinyl arrived today! No nuclear colors but it's really nice. Jeez, the only Charli shit I have is from TR...signed CD, promo, and vinyl. Considering framing the insert.

Oh gosh, sorry if my moving songs around has been confusing. "Catch and Release" definitely only belongs in volume 1, as it is an early song. And "Dangerous" is the title of the a cappella demo for "Dangerous Girl". The fully produced version is in volume 2. There's a lot of argument about the "Trash" titles, but basically Trash Magic = Trash (Miss America), while Trash Sugar Magic = Trash Magic (Demo). And I don't tend to mix live versions with studio version so I have two live albums, one for early shows and one for later shows. I can post them if you'd like. In fact, I'll likely post a ton of screenshots later today when I get on a good connection, but I put all demos and alternates in a completely different album. I have integrated new leaks like TLOTS in, though, and will update

Elizabeth Woolridge Grant did not date the Moldy Peaches, omg. I used to listen to them. What But hey it looks like they're still on good terms if she continues to mention him, at least! And Sirens may not be very "surf" but she's called it her first record twice and I just don't see how she could mean anything else. Plus, maybe he produced other LG era songs? The No Kung Fu AKA demos, maybe...Many are without producers, like CWYCMA and the full-band Phenomena songs (hey, if she would work with him now, maybe she'd also work with him when she was obviously with Arthur Lynn).

Yay a thread! I love nearly all of her first EP way more than "Water Me" (apart from "Hide", probably) but that song is how I discovered her and I'm glad it's getting her that hipster recognition "Weak Spot" in particular is so fantastic. I mean the whole thing is a whisper and she totally pulls it off, but then some production elements really seal the deal for me. I'm not usually an ambient music sort of person but each song is unique to me and I love them all so I'm really excited for EP2. Very distressed that she only has six songs out, and like HDB I'm not listening to "How's That" yet. As for her being creepy, I love it! She's really beautiful but with all these off-putting elements to her appearance, and it's the same with her music. I mean, the robot voice in "Weak Spot" is my absolute favorite so I just really like the production on her music. It's as much a presence as her voice, sometimes more. I think someone who did parts of Yeezus is her producer so that's cool. I use this as artwork for her first EP because otherwise we're left with a blank scan of the vinyl:

Lana Del Rey Officially Announces TROPICO, "Coming to a City Near You"

I really think she'll do more dates, particularly Chicago. I'm not too worried about the farewell statement. Hopefully she'll elaborate (probably in person at the premiere) but I think she just means the era? No more year late remix singles. But yassssss it's gonna be at a cemetery, I'm so there. And anyone know of any Whitman poems addressing Adam & Eve/innocence? Will she have no self-penned monologues or acting dialogue? -
She's upset about album material leaking and it's slowing her down but she's taking the opportunity to cool down and take a break--easier with fewer live dates.

Fucking ME. Jokes turning to insults are all I have to flirt with. Pray for anyone on the wrong side of my adoration PS @@Trinity what about the bridge? You try to get away but I can't be denied 'Cause everybody wants true love on the side I'm everything you want but it's hard to decide 'Cause everybody wants true love on the side

Was that not already suggested to you previously? Tennis Court is definitely my favorite (studio) Lorde song. Australia

I don't know, man, it was a really instant thing for me. You don't have to force yourself to like her. Check out her album when it comes and she's still doing nothing for you then move right along, no harm no foul. I don't understand any of the reasons anyone's provided for hating her tbh Her production is anything but boring and she has some certifiable jams with her use of melody like Tennis Court and Royals.
-
Yes! Most advertisements I've seen feature the mesh top but this looks like it's from the same shoot. She looks amazing so I'm all for it. Can't wait to get as much merch for this album as possible Oh PS if anyone was wondering, the Tennis Court vinyl does use The Love Club cover.
-
Omg no, what happened?
-
It could just be a placeholder cover...If not, I can see why she chose it, since she has little interest in pictures of herself. Highest audio quality. For audio nazis basically.
-
Where the FUCK did she say "Swine"? Perez diss track
-
OMG is Lemon Incest the reason she said she loves lemons? I didn't even think of that.

Aw, baby. I've been so hyped on the idea of a new Lana release that I don't even know how to react to it potentially coming later. She still seems passionate about the idea of the album and even about "Black Beauty" itself. I really hope it makes the album, however long it takes. Being a fan of Lana since Born to Die's release has been a lot like getting spoiled. There are so many leaks and she's been pretty consistent in putting out new stuff even if certain ideas fall to the wayside. I do have to wonder how ready fansites are for a drought. What the hell is she talking about with Steve Mertens, though? Is that something to do with Sirens? I mean 8 years ago would have been 2005 OMG channel the vibe of May Jailer with the voice and songwriting talent of Lana Del Rey. PLEASE. Should I merge this with the other Radio.com thread since that article was just kind of an introduction that used snippets of this interview?

Mix of songs that inspired her, no original. But I'd still like that rip
