Always wanted to make this thread but didn't want to be the one who was called greedy However, I think about this a lot. If I had a Lana genie who would grant me anything, obviously I'd choose "Rock Me Stable" and its various counterparts on the US copyright office. However, if we're being realistic (which requires eliminating that, "Roses", and god knows what else--final HD and DY?), I've already gotten so many great titles that I'm still reeling from this year--Daytona Meth, Your Band is All the Rage, Maha Maha. To narrow it down to five that actually could happen and won't leave me thirsting for eternity: - C U L8r Alligator - Big Bad Wolf (Demo) - All Smiles - Dance Money - W

I thought she'd use what was supposed to be the album cover instead of shooting something new, since she also switched the album name. Uh-oh

I know, I thought that volume 5 for acoustic and a cappella would make life much easier but all it did was shorten one volume significantly. It's difficult because you organize based on theme and I organize based on mood, and there really don't seem to be more than these five moods in her unreleased discography...There are small flukes, like hip-hop. But all I could even put in a hip-hop playlist would be Ridin', Summer of Sam, Beautiful Player, Spender, maybe Delicious or Live or Die...And I did once try an "aggressive" playlist but that's limited to Kinda Outta Luck, St. Tropez, Velvet Crowbar, TOSTB, TLOTS, Scarface...These are just too short. I like Teenage Wasteland a lot, I'll give these playlists a listen.

Even more new stuff! I am very unfamiliar with Korean music, though, oughta check this guy out to see if it'll be good... I wonder when we'll get the EP cover, though.

Oh it was about time for this thread. I loooooooooooooove him (and similarly want to either marry or be him). I got into him because I was interested in his use of the ukulele. Lycanthropy is my absolute favorite and Wind in the Wires is also flawless. Both just strike me as Halloween albums which can only be a good thing in my opinion Thinking of that, The Bachelor is pretty wintry and The Magic Position fits perfectly with spring. No doubt Lupercalia is the summer album here with "The City". If I were to list my top 5 favorites songs... - The Childcatcher - To the Lighthouse - Land's End - The Libertine - The Future But a huge shoutout to Peter Pan, Damaris, Ghost Song, and his cover of Kate Bush's Army Dreamers.

FUCK the bump of this thread made me think there was album news. Their self-titled was even more played than The Fame for me in freshman year and that's right when I got into Lady Gaga. A big deal

I initially really loved the National Anthem cover but I swear the moment the Ride artwork was revealed I probably screamed. Was my favorite look to date and still one of the best pictures of her. I wish they hadn't replaced it on all the merchandise with the flag picture. The imagery is really striking and it was so brand new for her with the hair and cowgirl shit. Just look at all the previous covers--they're so glamorous. Also why don't you use the H&M Blue Velvet single cover? Was on the merch so it counts @@Beemo

LANALYSIS: Relating Songs To Known/Assumed Relationships
Sitar replied to Sitar's topic in Lana Thoughts
Finally sharing I was ready to call The Moldy Peaches the band that was all the rage and maybe even assign Steven Mertens as a semi-famous (read: released a few albums) druggie but they've been on hiatus since 2004. Any side bands he'd be traveling with? Did he ever have blue hair? Drug problems? A best friend with which to sleep with? She really wasn't lying when she said the men she met along the road. New boyfriends popping up all the time. I remember when I didn't even list Mike in Lanalysis 1.0...Get it, Lanz. She belongs to everybody that she walks by. Everyone's one true love on the side. JFC "There was a drive-by" "Double homicide" For K is blunt--either a blunt fantasy or a blunt reality. But idk how it can be interpreted in another way. -

I'll spoiler this but if you have any interest in how my entire Lana Del Rey unreleased collection (apart from instrumentals and album demos, trust that they're just as cute though) looks, here we are: Ideas for shortening volume 2 are welcome but perhaps futile because we will only get more leaks.

Lil Apostles! No but I think she's adamantly said that she doesn't want a fan name. So I say Apostles as a joke What I couldn't possibly. I have this thing where I need uniformity in the way I organize all collections in my library (I spent a good day changing every unreleased batch by different artists to "volumes" after I decided to go with it for Sky), and so if I were to do this I'd need to keep all songs in their originals EPs. For example, this would make True Romance seven tracks But this artwork right hurr: http://noahscovers.tumblr.com/post/57229817373/lorde-swingin-party *Two covers, "Mama Do" and "Use Somebody", and I'm afraid they're kinda "live in studio" radio rips. Third rarity "Piece of Mind", however, is original, HQ, and fully produced.
